Tamara recall : Mercedes benz failing to replace in a timely manner as it has been over 2 years since I was made aware of the dangerous airbags and no urgency response in remedying the situation.
Takata recall: there are two outstanding recalls for my vehicle (NHTSA 16v081 & 17v017) that have no remedies for over a year. One was posted in february 2016 & another in january 2017. Without this, I cannot have my airbag(s) changed and am worried every time I operate my vehicle. Should my airbags deploy, myself and my passenger run the risk of shrapnel from an inflator rupture. Rather than save lives, these airbags are ticking time bombs!
The airbags have been recalled for several years at this point in time...Mercedes has not replaced these defective airbags.

Takata recall - my vehicle has been under recall for a couple of years due to malfunction of driver side and passenger side airbags. I've received several notices via mail regarding the recalls and I have reached out to Mercedes benz to help resolve the issue. Every time I call Mercedes benz and my local Mercedes benz dealer about the airbag parts, I am told my airbag recalls are "pending". My vehicle is unsafe to drive for myself and my passengers. My attorney has sent a letter to Mercedes benz and to NHTSA regarding the situation as my vehicle has not yet been fixed and is a great hazard. The airbag parts, I am told, are no longer being manufactured. I don't feel secure driving my vehicle and am highly disappointed in the way my situation is being handled. Mercedes benz is aware of the l

I called to inquire about the airbag recall and the rep that answered the phone said, they were not doing the year of my car right now, and that I can call back to see when they are. I asked so, am I suppose to just keep driving the car until, I hear from you all, the lady said, I'm not sure that is up to you. I have tried taking the car twice and I was told they don't have the parts yet, so I don't know what else to do. (not sure of exact date of this conversation)

I was driving with my heat on in cold weather. I was in motion when I heard a loud pop. I was on route 1 traveling straight on the road. At first I thought it was my windshield. Then I heard a crackling sound above me. The whole front panel sunroof now looked like crackle glass. When I got home I looked to see if something had hit the sunroof but nothing had. When I contacted my merecedes dealership they would not acknowledge there was a problem even though I had told them what the Mercedes blogs were saying. I had the dealership replace the sunroof. The panel cost $1131.20 plus labor $402.50.

While parking my car in a garage, it accelerated. Upon applying the brakes, it speeded up causing me to crash into a concrete barrier. Air bag did not deploy.

I brought my car in to my local mechanic and was told my rear suspension was corroded. He said it would cost around five thousand dollars to repair. I researched online and found mercedes did not have a recall but has extended the warranty and will cover the repair to the rear suspension. The mercedes dealer called me and told me my brake lines were rusted out and needed replacement and that it was not covered by the extended warranty and would cost thirty five hundred dollars. In all my years of driving, I have never had the brake lines rust out on a vehicle and can't imagine that this is not related to the suspension issue. I have done some research and seen many mercedes owners have had the same complaint. I believe mercedes benz should be responsible for this repair just like the
