A side impact collision that resulted in the tire snapping off the frame and the airbags did not deploy. Astonished by the craftsmanship of the wheel assembly because of how easily the tire can snap off. The other driver speed at impact was approximately 30+mph. This is not a safe vehicle to be involved in a collision.

"takata recall" I received a card in mail sayingthat there was a class action settlement on the takata airbags. This card advised me to go to the website to find out if my Honda civic was part of this settlement. And whether I should go to the Honda dealer to check if I needed my airbags repaired. When I went to this website it didn't tell me anything. It didn't tell me if my car was involved in the settlement or if I needed to have my airbags repaired. This website didn't even ask for my VIN number. I would appreciate someone informing me if I need to fix it o what I need to do. I took my 2013 Honda civic to my dealer and he said is not necessary to check it or repair it. I really apreciate all your help in this safety issue. Thanks

Takata recall, I noticed yesterday when rolling my windows down that my back left window was not rolling down. When I was parked I tried pushing the button up and down to see if it would roll down and it wouldn't. It made a slight clicking sound and than stopped. Today, I called gary smith Honda to see what the issue may be and they said it was the motor inside the door. I called auto zone and they looked up the year and model of my car to find the correct part and than informed me that the part was sold out locally and the vendor online was also sold out for the year and make of my car. With that said, there's a strong indication I am not the only one having the problem. I find it out of the usual for a window that is rarely if ever rolled down to have a motor go out. The other windows ro

Aloha, bought this Honda civic, hybrid in 2013 brand new and love it overall. Had an issue when adjusting the inside mirror that it actually came off in my hand while I was drying ! ..... I didn't feel that I was that forceful in adjusting the mirror so was very surprised to see it pop off like that, and also very dangerous while on the highway in doing so. Had to pull over to the side of the road, and was able to pop the ball joint thingy back into place. Hmm...... I've never had a car do that before !! ....... Very dangerous and should be looked into. We had called the main Honda dealership on mainland, reported it, and have a case number on it, as well as taking the car to the hilo, hawaii Honda dealership where we bought the car and reporting the issue ! Thanks.

Also wasn't able to select the steering, the speed control brakes and the wheels/tires. The car has completely shut off while driving going 60 on the highway. Since I've got this car it's been a huge pain and has been in the shop nearly the entire time I've had it. I'm currently making monthly payments on it and have had the car since 2017 and have put over $9,000 worth of work into it.. It finally has stopped working again I've been without a car for over a year because I can't continue to dump money into it. The ABS light and check engine have been on since I've got it and the tire pressure light has always been on since I've got it the airbag light blinks while driving randomly and the electrical has went out while driving as well all the lights and radio would completely go out while

I purchased a new Honda civic 2013 in july 2014. The car came with continental contipro contact tires size 205/55 r16 89h. From the beginning the tires caused a great deal of noise. On some roads the noise is so loud, there is a potential failure to hear emergency vehicles. In addition, with even the mildest road defect there is rumbling and often a loud booming. I took the car in to report defect at 1066 miles and was told by the service adviser that I needed four new tires. My mechanic also advised me these tires are faulty and dangerous. I am terrified of driving, particularly on the highway. I do believe that being a senior citizen has played a role in Honda's effort to ignore me. Thanks for the opportunity to vent my concerns and anguish. *tr

I was making a left hand u-turn in the city on main street when in the middle of my turn my dash lights turned off my brakes wouldn't work and I lost power steering and acceleration. It felt like the car turned off. Lucky there was nobody coming the other way because I was stopped in the middle of the road and could not accelerate. Once I was at a complete stop in the middle of oncoming traffic the dash lights turned back on and I was able to accelerate. However when I was trying to park to check the car, any slight movement of the steering wheel would make my headlights almost turn off because it was like it was drawing a lot of extra power for some reason to turn the steering wheel. I then parked for about 20 minutes and turned the car back on with no problem. I went to a parking lot to
