Straps, yes The straps do not stay tight and do not keep my child restrained Yes After checking the straps on the car seat they become loose no longer restraining my child in her seat

I have a tacky dashboard which has a glare on the dashboard hindering vision while driving. I understand is a recall however not for 2013 avalons. I’m a senior which make more difficult for to drive my care comfortably. I would like Toyota to approve the repair for my car. I’ve been a loyal customer for 25 years Sincerly

Road noise very loud and distracting. After some investigating on my own I found the problem was coming from the left and right outside mirrors. Took to dealer and they found no issues.so I came back home and did some research on internet and found others having same complaint. The mirror housings were changed on models after 8/2013 (had ribs add to housing) return to dealer and they changed to the newer housings and the noise went away.

Avalon recall no 15v728. Had the recall "remedy" performed on my car 09/07/16 (was having no issue with my car before the recall) and now the pcs warning buzzes and lights up, and the red brake! Message lights up every time I drive the vehicle! Contacted Toyota corporate ofc (case #1609142106 & #1611100472) to report the issue has not been resolved, and express my fear that the system will now not work when it is supposed to, but the "case mgr" (cory carter) stated "there is nothing else they can do for me", and advised me to "seek outside assistance for any additional help'. I asked if this meant seeking an attorney, to which he replied "yes". I feel my car is now unsafe, and Toyota could care less!!

I was parking head-in to parking spot. As I reached the final spot, and was shifting gear to p (parking), the car took off like a "rocket" and jumped the curb. This caused damage to the car parked in the next parking spot and my car. The other car had to be towed. I was able to still drive my car. This happened at an office building outdoor parking lot. People standing outside the building (for smoking or otherwise) witnessed it all. They also indicated that the car went like a rocket and they have never seen anything like this.

I just purchased a 2013 Toyota avalon from carmax. During the next several days of driving I had observe the following. One. The rear window is distorted and will not come clean no matter what I attempt to use to be able to have a clear visibility. I also have noticed that while in a stop position, when beginning to accelerate the vehicle hesitates and I have to take my foot off the gas pedal and reapply to accelerate. I have a seven day return policy no questions asked. But I really love this car in been waiting to find that particular color exterior and interior which is black leather. I called Toyota and they could not find any recall or other problems with this.

Takata recall a recall was made on this vehicle in octobert of 2015 replacement parts are not availble nearly had four bad accidents on a highway going to chicago the radar cruise control is supposed to slow the car when you get to close to the car in front of you. On certain occasion this does not happen.

Tl* the contact owned a 2013 Toyota avalon. The contact stated while driving 55 MPH, the contact depresssed the brakes because the vehicle ahead stalled. The contact was able to complete stop but the vehicle behind him was unable to stalled crashing into the rear of vehicle. Which caused the front of the front of the contact vehicle to run in the rear of the car ahead of him. The contact stated the air bags failed to deploy, and no warning light illuminated from vehicle. The contact sustatined back pain, and bump on the head and neck strain , the contact daughter sustained chest injury and his son had tooth injury causing bleeding from the mouth. 2013 Toyota avalon hybrid requesting airbags to be replaced. *mw the dealer stated the had not received any information concerning the replacement of air bags. She was also informed of a recall concerning an issue with the seats, but never received a notice. *jb

I purchased the used vehicle from corwin Toyota in fargo, nd. After purchasing the vehicle I returned three times for repairs. When I brought the vehicle in for service the third time in six weeks I found out that two recalls would also be taken care of. I went on line to find out what the recalls were for. One of them was NHTSA recall id 13v442. This recall is about a drain hose clogging that could ultimately cause the air bags to activate due to the malfunction or to possibly not activate in an accident. The result could be serious injuries or death to the occupants of the car. This recall was initiated in the summer of 2013. The dealer(corwin) took this car in on trade in october of 2014 and then sold it to me. Why would they sell a car with a known recall without fixing it. E

Sidewall of tire showed a bubble after 24,000 miles on a 2013 Toyota avalon discovered by dealer on routine maintenance. Contacted michelin and they sent me to a dealer that bumped up the price $25 over the price the dealer quoted and only offered 20% credit. I believe the sidewall is a manufacturing defect. I have photos that I can send. These tires are a danger to the reining public and need to be recalled before death or a serious injury results from the sidewall.

My 2013 Toyota avalon hybrid is having engine revving problems. While operating at normal speed (45-50). The RPM's suddenly increase to high levels without an increase in speed. Lack of control is evident. If you switch to "manual" mode with the gear selector you can force it out of play...but the revving can occur soon thereafter or it will not occur again a different day. I took the car into be serviced and told the service manager about the revving problem. He seemed to be very doubtful of the description and told me they could download the engine history. They reported "no problem found". It happened again a few weeks later for a while on a flat paved country road and could be coaxed to stop with the gas pedal. *tr

Sunlight is reflected into the eyes of the driver and front seat passenger from the interior trim. This bright reflection not only makes it difficult to see at times, the sunlight can cause damage to the retina and cornea. The light comes from many different parts of the car so it is impossible to constantly shield with our hands while driving. We keep the sunroof closed. It does not matter if the sun is directly overhead or at an angle because there are so many areas that reflect the light. We noticed this problem within the first week of purchase.
