2014 Dodge Avenger owner complaints

I was hit by another car that ran a stop sign and none of my airbags deployed. The accident resulted in a total loss due to the hard hit. As a result I do not feel safe at all knowing that I could be hit so hard that my 2014 Dodge avenger was totaled but no air bags deployed to do the job they were suppose to do.

Takata air bags unsafe I dont want to be killed due to bad building!!!!!!

It is the airbags but I'm not sure if it's considered the takata recall. But I've received two to three different letters about the recall and I've gone to the dealership numerous times. Everytime they say they don't have the parts to fix and now the airbag light keeps going on and off. I called to schedule an appointment for one of the two recalls and not they are saying there is no record of a recall for my car.

Takata recall. Seat belts will not click and come undone randomly. My car went limp and would not drive over 10 miles per hour due to mechanical failure while driving. Also the car shut off another day while on the highway in motion. Car needed to be towed to vip. Suspension system required replacement.

I was driving and the car just cut back, it act as though it wanted to stall. It did this a few times. I had to go to the dealership and have my warning lights on the dash reset 3 times. They always had a reason why this happened. I will never get another avenger that's for sure. I love Dodge but I have always had a caravan used and this car had 9miles on it when I brought it dec 2013 I have not had it a whole year yet and I've been to the shop 4 times already. *tr

On november 3rd my car over heated. I have to get it towed away to the dealership. Same dealership I bought my car from. After they diagnosed my car they said the hose broke and over heating melted my sensors. They asked me $773.55 for repairing. On good faith I took my car from the dealership. Just after 2 weeks, a day before thanks giving my car over heated again. Again I have to get it towed away again to the dealer ship. My car has been in the shop for more than 12 days. At first they are saying that my gas kit blew and then later they said they have to replace my engine. My concern here is that why was it not done on the first attempt. I borrowed money against my 401k plan and I cant take another loan to get it fixed. My wife is stage 3 cancer patient. We do not have enough money. I b

My engine starts shaking when I cut my car on

Issues with seatbelts which pop out when tension or force is applied on the belt. Passenger seat belt had first started to show signs of failure when the seat belts safety button would unclasp when braking. Now, after some time and usage the passenger's belt does not clasp fully at all and takes a good minute for it to catch. Driver's seat has started to show signs of this as well as when I had to brake hard and when pressure was applied to the belt, the clasp had given way and popped out.

I wrote previously on the brakes not working resulting in accident but I can't find where to update my previous complaint so I'll add to it here. We have since learned the speed at time of accident was 21 MPH, red light came on when brakes were pressed and there were no brakes. This is the 3rd time it happened. The other 2 the brakes came right back. The accident did result in the vehicle being totaled. Thank goodness no injuries but what we have since learned is the airbags did indeed deploy, thank goodness, but the driver seatbelt did not hold. I was driving on the beltway and the car just stalled. I was doing 70 MPH at the time. The car randomly stalls/won't crank and it has less than 4000 miles on it. I just purchased the car and have been back and forth to the dealership and they will not help me. It shuts off with no warning and all the gauges get stuck. Drivers side of car blows heat. Passenger side blows cold

I own a 2014 Dodge avenger in which only cold air comes out on the passenger side. I took the car to the dealer and they told me what I had expected all along, a clogged heater core. I have done a lot of research on this and found out Dodge is and was well aware of this manufacturing defect. Clogged heater core because of faulty flushing of the water jackets on the v6 engine. I am very limited on driving my car in the winter because my windshield will not defrost on the passenger side, which is a hazard. This fault is not because of misuse of the vehicle but a manufacturing fault of Dodge. Guess what, they will do nothing about it. Hit a few deer head on it took out both sides and complete front end and air bags didn't deploy and it was a pretty hard impact ill be surprised if they don't total the vehicle out we were on hwy 45 in bloomington indiana
