PROBLEM IS THE BRAKES. SIX MONTHS AFTER PURCHASING THIS SUV, THE BRAKES STARTED TO SQUEAK A LITTLE WHEN I SLOWED DOWN OR STOPPED. IT WOULD COME AND GO, ABOUT 2 MONTHS AFTER, IT HAPPENED MORE OFTEN, BUT I WAITED SINCE I HAD A MAINTENANCE COMING UP. I TOOK IT IN FOR MAINTENANCE ABOUT 5,000 MILES, MENTIONED IT TO THE SERVICE ATTENDANT AND HE TOLD ME THEY WOULD CHECK. I PICKED UP MY AUDI I WAS TOLD …

ABS sensor failed. Caused the warning lights to come on showing failure. The rear brakes locked up in an intersection as a result of sensor failure and I narrowly avoided a serious accident. This has happened twice. Each time when a sensor failed.
