If the driver's front air bag deployment timing is incorrect, there is an increased risk of personal injury in the event of a vehicle crash.

TAILGATE UNINTENTIONALLY OPENS: This Service Information Bulletin (Revision 4) replaces SI B51 30 16 dated March 2018. Trunk/tailgate may open when vehicle is locked Trunk/tailgate may open while the vehicle is in motion usually after stopping such as a traffic light etc. Vehicle key trunk/tailgate button may be accidentally pressed thus opening the tailgate.

Airbags in the BMW are malfunctioning and producing a fault of the system listed as a "malfunction". BMW does not warranty this though it is a safety system that should be subjected to fixing faulty systems that could injure drivers and passengers. I was t boned by another driver and my airbag didnt deploy. My car was going approx 20mph and the other vehicle over 60mph. Struck directly in center of car on passenger side and only th passenger side window airbag was the only one to deploy. There was no passenger in my car.
