2nd time AC compressor motor breaks and as is in line with the serpentine belt, all other systems including electrical and engine stop working. Poor engineering or other reason causing part to break down.
The electrical wiring started a fire that destroyed the engine compartment. I was in the vehicle and barely escaped injury while pedestrians were walking by and could have been injured when an explosion occurred. GEICO is now investigating the incident. A Service Battery Charging System warning light displayed on the dashboard and heavy smoke began to emit from the engine compartment then, a small fire started and escalated to a full and life threatening condition.
While thankfully driving in the slow lane on the interstate in st. Louis my stability light came on the truck then slowed down on its own then went into four-wheel-drive then revved up to 6000 rpms then every service light came on on the dash when pulling to the side of the road the car then would not drive forward it stayed in neutral regardless of gearshifting it then began to cycle through all of the service request for the vehicle. After having to have the vehicle towed to the nearest dealership which was three hours away from my house they informed me the following morning the power steering control gearbox had went out and fried all the electrical's inside the vehicle. The vehicle has less than 39,000 miles after contacting GMC they told me there was nothing they could do that there

Check engine light is on. Shudder and delayed reaction after engaging the gas pedal when moving forward in gear 1 & 2 then again seems to intermittently has issue with higher gears when on the hwy. Without warning, Several times the Acadia would not engage gears and wouldn't move at all after backing into the street from driveway. I had to have someone help push the Acadia back into the driveway. The Check Engine light keeps turning on and off. Had O'Riely check th OBD with code reader. "Torque Converter Selenoid is stuck 'ON'. Was informed by Costco there was n 2020 Recall for Acadia"s of my year regarding a Transmission recall Ref #N202313440.
Vehicle seems to be stuck in 4wd, unable to switch out of it. Cannot turn vehicle.

My first incident on my 2015 GMC acadia sle FWD purchased brand new was this year at 40000 miles. One head light went out and then the other in which the dealer wanted 400+ bucks to replace. The lighting is actually bad from the headlamps. They lights do not extended in front of you to see if you will be coming upon anything and can possibly run it over. My second issue at 41000 was the power steering. One day I heard a loud whining as I turned the corner on a city street and suddenly the power steering stopped. I looked in the manual and it says to put a certain type of transmission fluid in there, but I had just had a free oil change at the dealer about 3 weeks ago and they do not top off any other fluids. After putting the fluid in the power steering place, I noticed a leak. Come to fin
I noticed the other day when I was turning my steering wheel it was very hard. No light or warring at all. I checked my power steering fluid and it was full. I'm not able to turn the wheels when I'm not pressing on the gas peddle. I want to my local mechanic and he told me that there should be a recall on these cars. Because he has replaced too many in the 2015 model. If I have them replace the power steering pump it will cost me $1000. This is not a good thing. I almost got into an accident, because I was not able to turn the wheel in time. Thank god the other car moved out of the way. I have young children in my car everyday.

Everytime it rains the passenger floor gets wet. I can not see the water coming in. However, the mat and floor carpet is always wet after it rains, even if the front passenger door has not been opened or exposed to the rain. This has caused mold to grow on floor mat. This is an ongoing issue.
tires 1 complaint shown
I have goodyear fortera hl tires on my acadia and started having problems with them just at 1 month after I leased my car. The first problem was that I ended up with a major flat tire & it was just a big hole in the large tread. Since then the tires never hold inflation...all of them. I hydroplane when turning on roads that are only slightly wet and the entire car slides sideways. I now need to replace these tires at just 30,000 miles when the supposed mileage warranty is 60k. There was a recall for this exact tire but the production recall ended at just two weeks prior to when mine were produced. However, my tires are doing the same exact things that the recalled tires did and these should be included in the recall as well. The treads have cracks, splits and pits in them just as the rec
