2015 Honda Accord owner complaints

Vehicle needs new battery every 2 years. Has left me stranded twice. The car has less than 90,000 miles and is only 4 years old. Honda has replaced under recall some type of battery sensor but this has not helped. There are two tsb's that I know of: tsb 16-002 and tsb 17-057. Car gurus website has a blog with a large number of accord owners all in the same boat. People are replacing starters, alternators, ignition switches, batteries, etc. To no avail. Honda has turned its back on its customers. I can not afford this. Please help.

Battery has left me stranded 3+ times. Not to mention that I have taken in the car a few times due to all the re-calls its hard. Battery and electronica blue tooth has its issues as well. The car will fail to start on random occasions, I needed to get gas an the car would not restart after shutting off for fueling. The car will also not restart after car washes and stall the operation of the wash.

Car would not start completely one night leaving me stranded. Now intermittent starting issues at less than 33k miles. Very common issue with starter and Honda has issued a service bulletin but no recall

The past month my vehicle will start intermittently. I will turn the key and nothing happens. No click from the starter or nothing. Lights come on. Turn key to off and try again and it starts. Battery and alternator tested good. My guess it is the starter going bad or the starter relay. Car has 75000 miles on it. Obviously car is parked. This occurred 11/20/2019 to present. It is random when it does happen and is happening more often.

My 15 accord exl v4 is about 5 years ago and 68k. Start having issue to start the car. Push the button and break, car doesn't start. Took my car for a check, I was been told I need to replace the starter. I searched online and lots of 9th gen owners are having same issue. Unacceptable for such age car with starter issue

The contact owns a 2015 Honda Accord. The contact stated that since she owned the vehicle, the battery had failed on three separate occasions. The first two batteries were replaced by independent mechanics; however, on the latest failure, the contact had the vehicle towed to a dealer. Despite another battery replacement, the failure occurred again five months later. The contact sent an email to the manufacturer and received a case number. The vehicle had yet to be repaired and remained in the possession of the dealer. The failure mileage was unknown.

My wheel is lock and I can't unlock it. For 3-4 days I've had to wiggle the wheel and keys jus to turn my car on. And it doesn't even let me do that any more

Power Steering did not work when I went out to my car. I took it to Honda and they replaced the power steering rod While I was driving it power steering failed again. Took it back to Honda - replaced electrical panel While I was driving power steering went out again. Back in shop with Honda and saying needs electrical harness repair. Dangerous to drive as you have no control over steering car while driving

I was driving at about 30 MPH when the steering wheel froze all of a sudden and Electric Power Steering Malfunction indicator turned on suddenly. The steering became very hard to turn left or right. I was on a road with light traffic so somehow pulled over to the side with manual strength and turned off power. When I turned back the vehicle, it seemed to be ok and I drove for about a mile, only to have the same issue again. The issue seemed to be intermittent which makes it more dangerous. I took the car to a dealer but they could not reproduce the issue and reset the error code. The issue showed up again immediately after leaving dealers place. The car is driven less than 50k miles and about 7 years old. I am the first owner. The power Steering works intermittently, but then again freezes

While I was driving my 2015 Honda accord my car suddenly slowed down. Then it stopped driving so I pulled to the side of the road. When I stopped and put it in park to turn off/on it didn’t move an inch. This happened on my way to work in traffic I have no idea what is going on. I’m located in the US Virgin Islands but the car was shipped down from Florida to here. We have an Honda dealership that I can carry it to if necessary for inspection. My safety at moment was very risky because I was on my way to work and it had traffic all of a sudden my car slows down with me on the highway without any warnings or indications that it was failing so I was really scared at the moment because I had to think fast to get myself to the side of the road. Lost power without any warning while taking an exit on the highway. Fortunately, I was able to pull over without an incident. Mechanic scanned : P0087. Replaced high pressure fuel pump assembly and associated parts. Honda had a recall on 2013-2014 models. Extremely likely this problem persisted in the 2015 model but Honda did not include this model year in the recall. Very expensive repair.

When the car is started up cold, it will sometimes start to stall on the road. Turning on and off the car usually gets it working correctly again. Usually will only happen if the temp is at or near freezing. 2015 Honda Accord EX. This has been. Had my 2015 Honda accord ex-l in for service today, and asked them to check the brakes because the pedal was soft again. In the last year to try and correct the soft pedal I have replaced the pads and rotors, and a few months had the brakes bled. Dealership tells me they have seen issues with the master cylinder, lucky I had the extended warranty so it will only cost me the deductible but there is something wrong have master cylinder problems at 36000 miles.

Feb 25 2016 I had accident and car got total loss my air bag fail to open and had head injury

The wipers intermittently stop while driving , it just started 2 days ago. I'm not sure what to do

The check engine warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was able to restart; however, the failure persisted. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed and determined that there was a misfire in cylinder #2, causing engine failure, and the contact was informed that the engine needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The vehicle was then taken to an independent mechanic, where it was diagnosed that the fuel pump had failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 164,040.

The vehicle is consuming excessive oil has been doing so for last 20,000 miles or that's when I noticed it. It's losing a quart every 1500 miles. It also seems to have bad seals on the doors and windshield air seems to be getting inside while vehicle is in motion. At highway speeds makes unbearable noises which is a huge discomfort to all passengers in the vehicle Honda refused to make any correction on these problems. As both are manufacture defects. Vehicle only has 73,000 miles I'm hoping that my message here can be seen by NHTSA and I hope they can help with my problems because Honda has failed to do anything. I purchased a new 2015 Honda accord touring from pat peck Honda on dec. 1, 2015. The car when test driven vibrated at highway speeds. As the car had been manufactured in april of 2015, I assumed that the tires were a little flat spotted. I was told that the tires were a little bit "out of balance" and the dealer balanced the tires, test drove it and returned it to me as roadworthy. I took the car back 3 times and each time the dealer represented to me that the problem was tire balance and the problem was fixed. They even claimed that the tires were replaced. I am convinced that that is a lie. I took the car to an independent tire dealer this morning and he examined the tires and showed me on his balance machine that the tires are out of round.
