Please note that this is not reporting incidents, accidents, collisions or injuries. This is reporting actions taken regarding, (previously referenced here), the Important Safety Recall Number 251. Although this problem was recorded in September of 2023 (please refer to [XXX] ), I only recently received this Safety Recall notice in the mail on Monday, November 27, 2023. The vehicle engine started knocking around 80,000 miles. At 101000 miles the engine had a catastrophic failure. The vehicle had terrible loud knocking and crunching noises with very little power. This happened on the interstate going 70mph. The knocking issue had been brought up several times to allen turner Hyundai in pensacola, fl and ignores. The service staff told me it was because I was not getting the oil changed (I stopped going to them because of their terrible customer service). Once I produced receipts proving them wrong they said that I wasn't getting it changed often enough even though I got it changed according to the time frame they told and what was stated in the owners manual. They eventually agreed to fix it for $500 after having to get loud and obnoxious with everyone up

The headlights randomly turn off or switch between high and low beams. This is dangerous especially at night because high beams can impair another driver's vision or having the lights turn off completely makes me unseen on the road. My car is available for inspection upon request. When I have gone online, I have seen other Hyundai customers have experienced the same thing.

The car was working fine. Then one day it wouldn’t turn on while we were out. The engine wouldn’t start and it smelt burnt and there was smoke. We had to jumpstart the car and it showed some codes. They were B1319 and B1111. We took it to an electrician and it showed there was was a fuse that’s being overpowered. The car had been working again, but I did get a smell of something burnt a few times from inside the car. A few weeks passed by and three days ago the car again wouldn’t turn on. Just yesterday I found out about the recall from September on the Hyundai Elantra 2015. Not sure if it has something to do with that, but I still haven’t received a recall although that’s the car model I have.

2015 Hyundai elantra with 43,000 miles on it. The car vibrates and shakes while in the drive or reverse when stopped with the driver's foot on the brake. The vibration and shaking vary in intensity. I brought the car to the dealer and they said the throttle body needed to be cleaned due to rough idle. I had the service performed and it has not solved the problem. This is an issue that hyundia needs to address.

My car's engine had damaged engine seals and was leaking oil. Also, when I accelerate it seems to be very forceful and the gears don't change well, they seem to be stuck. I had to take the front axle in for repair since something seemed to break. Also in the second or third year I had to take it under warranty since I had problems with the brakes and the sensor was damaged. The button to raise and lower the window does not work.
