Turned the vehicle on, pulled out of parking spot and heard a noise from the front of the vehicle as steering wheel was turned. The steering was very tight and the vehicle was difficult to maneuver. As the speed increased, the steering loosened, and as the vehicle decelerated, the vehicle became nearly impossible to maneuver. The power steering fluid is full, and the vehicle appeared to be in good condition. There were no accidents or incidents prior to this issue, and the vehicle operated without issue prior to this incident.

My vehicle has an optional tech package that provides forward braking, lane departure and backup braking. Apparently when I hit a pothole, these safety features occasionally turn off. Iv'e had these car for 4 1/2 years and became aware of this problem about 6 months ago. I'm have become dependent on these safety enhancements and no-longer feel comfortable when driving. I have complained the dealership since november 19 and still have not received a positive response all I want is to have a working safety system..

Car pulls to the left on its own , happens pretty often. The force is so bad that I can berely keep the car on the road. Have taken the car to dealer 6 times they called Infiniti manufacturer engineer and he said they could not find the problem I have several videos I am afraid to drive this car. The car does that few mins after starting the car it pulls to the left with a hard force for like 2-3 mins than becomes normal like nothing ever happened.

There are time when I go to turn my steering wheel I am giving more force to turn the car and my car shows no mechanical damage or anything but when I turn the wheel it stiffens up a lot and it is not smooth to turn especially when I am making turns I see this and it is when I'm in the city mostly.

On numerous occasions while in motion at various speeds the vehicle will audibly alert, brake, steer, and deaden throttle response. These are related to enhanced safety features of the vehicle. The problem is that these occur when there is nothing to avoid or any danger present. These have occurred at high speeds and in situations where they could have caused an accident. My local dealership blamed all issues on the placement of an ez pass transponder. I find this to be completely absurd. Infiniti customer care will not assist. I have disabled all of these systems to avoid potentially dangerous situations. I note in the dates that this occured on 10/10/15, however there have been multiple instances. On 10/10/15 the vehicle steering had to be held at 30-45 degrees to the left to

Passenger airbag warning light on when my wife (145lbs) is in the passenger seat. This happens from the moment the car is turned on and persists the entire time while driving. Was told if the warning light was on that the airbag would most likely not deploy in an accident. This occurs each and ever time my wife is in the vehicle over the course of the past nine months. There have been recalls on many Nissan/Infiniti vehicles in 2013 and 2014, and it seems that this safety issue is present in the 2015 models as well. Tl* the contact owned a 2015 Infiniti q50. While accelerating from a stop at 10 MPH, another vehicle ran a red light. The other vehicle struck a pedestrian and then struck the passenger side of the contact's vehicle. The contact's vehicle then crashed into a cement divider. The contact's seven year old son was seated in the back seat. The air bags deployed, but failed to inflate. A police report was filed. The driver and rear passenger sustained injuries, which required medical attention. The passenger sustained whiplash and the driver sustained bruising to the lower back/sternum, which required x-rays, cat scans, and physical therapy. Upon driving when purchased the Engine Light for the Air Bags illuminated. Upon researching the issue the problem seems to be a common problem for vehicles of this make and problem. 90% of the time requiring the owner to take the vehicle to the dealership.Since it is a trend and ongoing I wanted to report the issue.

While driving 35 MPH, one vehicle rear ended the contact's vehicle, a second vehicle crashed into the driver's side of the contact's vehicle, and a third vehicle crashed into the passenger side of the contact's vehicle. On 12-04-2018 my wife and I began a road trip from southern california to bozeman, montana in our 2015 Infiniti q50. The Infiniti q50 is equipped with driver and passenger seat warmers. Due to the extreme cold, my wife (passenger) activated her right front passenger seat warmer to the high setting. The right front passenger seat warmer was activated from northern nevada to idaho falls, idaho, approximately for 9 hours. As we approached idaho falls, my wife and I began to smell a burnt odor coming from within the interior of the passenger compartment of the Infiniti. We immediately pulled over and my wife located the burnt smell coming from the right front passenger seat where my wife's right elbow had been resting during the trip. I was simply driving on the street when my vehicle stopped in the middle of the road causing cars to almost hit me. I was not involved in any accident but Infiniti has informed me that the emergency shut off was activated for unknown reason causing my ac compressor to blow and entire fuse box to be destroyed. My car only has 70k miles on it so this a safety hazard. These parts need to be recalled immediately there's no legitimate reason for a new car to do this. According to the manual the emergency shut of for Infiniti hybrids only happened when involved in major car accidents. This is not right.

I received a recall notice (folded information card) from Infinity in the mail in about August 2024 regarding Recall NHTSA 24V-470-R24A7. I also received an email from Infinity on August 28, 2024 with Subject "Your Q50 is due for Important recall repairs " and noted it stated Recall Code R24A7/R24A5: NHTSA 24V-470: Recall Description Q50/Q70 Prop Shaft. I contacted Infinity to schedule the repair and received a confirmed email service appointment for October 4th 2024. When I arrived at the dealership the service department told me they did not have parts but would change my oil and do other service for a fee. All I wanted was the recall fixed. In total I've been to the dealer 3 times and been always told that they have not received parts from the manufacturer. Today I called Infinit

While driving my Q50 on the highway at around 65mph my car automatically down shifted to 1st gear. It was a really hard shift, so hard I thought someone rear ended me. To down shift that quickly on the highway placed me in a very unsafe position. My car almost came to a complete stop without any notice to the vehicle behind me. Someone could have rear ended because I didn't hit my breaks. Thank God the car behind me was pretty far back, because if they had been a little closer, they would have hit me.

In the case of most newer cars, including my own, there is a problem with the rules for headlights. When the lights are in the on or auto position, the headlights will come on, as well as the tail-lights. When the lights are in the off position, newer cars will sense when twilight is falling and turn on both the headlights and dashboard lights but not the tail-lights. This will give the driver the sense that he has his lights on (for he can see that his headlights are on) but has no idea that his tail-lights are not on, and that therefore his car is extremely difficult to see in the dark. The only indicator in my car that would tell me is the green light on my dashboard telling me that the headlights on in the on or auto position. The door lock of the driver's door is stuck in the locked position and the door cannot be unlocked or opened. It will not unlock using the key fob, nor with the manual control inside the door, nor with the emergency key from outside the car. This could trap an inured driver inside the car in the event of an accident. The car has not yet been inspected by anyone. There was no warning lamps or messages prior to the failure. Earlier that same day the door failed to open while in gear but did so when I shifted to park. As this car was very recently purchased by me and I am still learning about it, I failed to recognize this a symptom of an impending failure. Engine and/or transmission lost torque power. Since 2016 while car only had 11,000 miles all of the sudden car lost torque power while accelerating. Check engine indicator has never light up and dealer consult scanner has never found the issue. Still car doesnt have same acceleration nor torque while going 0-60mph. Already I've seen so far 4 cars of the same year with speed sensor problems and replacement. Mechanics say it begins by loosing power until stops working and car wont move.

I was driving 2015 infinity q50 (purchased on 02/28/2015) on lee road, shaker heights, ohio 44120, which had a first scheduled maintenance on 09/14/2015 at the beachwood infinity dealer. I stopped at the intersection of lee road and chagrin blvd. Behind a black Jeep for waiting traffic. I had my car in drive and my foot firmly on the brake, about few seconds passed and suddenly my car started to move slowly forward while my foot was still firmly on the brake. As my car did not stop, I attempted to push the brake harder and to avoid rear collision with Jeep, I turned toward sidewalk, in a moment my car just took off at the speed, hitting fixed objects on side walk, missing some on coming vehicles and by grace of god I managed my car and came on chagrin blvd. Sun roof drain is clogged which has caused my carpets to go wet literally puddles, could potentially damage my electronics in car this is an ongoing problem for thousands of Infinitis. I am in a group on Facebook and I can literally scroll and find hundreds of Infiniti owners complaining about their carpets and how Infiniti dealerships charging thousands of dollars to repair.
