2015 Toyota Corolla owner complaints

Tl* the contact owns a 2015 Toyota corolla. After the vehicle was turned off and the key was removed from the ignition switch, the vehicle independently began to roll and crashed into another vehicle. A police report was not filed and there were no injuries. The contact stated that the vehicle began to surge for approximately a month before the failure occurred. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and sent a field supervisor to diagnose the vehicle. The failure was unable to be duplicated. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 22,000.

I was diving down an interstate and after exiting to a stop, the car would barely go after turning left. After a few more miles, the car juat stopped. The engine would still run but no acceleration. After having the car towed and inspected, was told I needed a new transmission.

The new Toyota corolla's have several issues with their headlight design. First, the daytime running lamps on vehicles with the xenon or LED lights appears to be the same lights that run at night when you turn on the switch. This means that people in oncoming lanes constantly flash their lights thinking the bright lights are on during the day because it is extremely bright. I've also noticed that a lot of other people with this same car don't realize they have to manually turn on their lights since the brightness of the daytime running lamps is the same as when the switch is turned on. People must think they have automatic headlights and subsequently fail to turn their light switch on which means they have no rear lights. Vehicle is an le eco model with continuously variable transmission (CVT). Engine RPM will suddenly flare...often close to redline with throttle in steady cruise position, regardless of engine operating and ambient temperature. Vehicle will not accelerate (sluggish). It is subject to a dealer campaign, but dealer claims an internal failure and is being highly ambiguous about the actual failure. They simply want to install a $5,000+ replacement transmission. The vehicle is not safe to drive and seems to have a mind of its own. It is worse now since the dealer looked at it. Toyota and the dealer will not help the customer (me) in any way and claim that there are no problems known with this transmission, an assertion that is not supported by the scope of internet postings that can readi

So most of incident data is not relevant in this complaint. 2 actual complaint is regarding 2015 and newer Toyota corollas. Their low beam head lights are blinding and a danger. A recall must be issued to fix the low beams

Please look into all 2015+ Toyota corollas with the high intensity discharge lights seem to be aimed higher than normal or have improper light taming lenses. When approaching they blind oncoming drivers.

Car started having paint problems at 3 years old. Paint missing on certain protected areas of car, with primer only (trunk and hood area.) paint on drivers side door formed bubbles on the edge. Paint scratching easily on the hood of the car. First car I have owned that was having paint issues after only 3 years. Normal driving conditions no different than other cars I've owned. Always well maintained and regularly washed.

Jerking front prior perhaps twice on the day in question I reversed to go in a friend house and the car went a full half circle and end in the neighbor hose next door. My car ended in to her fence where a swing was there. Due the defective her property needs to be fix as soon as possible had the car towed to dick dyer killian road today. I have witnesses to verify how the car did a half moon.

It's a incomplete safety repair recall for an airbag deploy, this is my first car so it was advised for me to contact the maker of the car for the recall that is incomplete on the car

I had a 2006 Toyota corolla which would not pass inspection due to takata airbag recall with no parts available for estimated 1 to 2 years. So I had to trade it on a new 2015 Toyota since no other manufacturer would take it and I could not sell it as is. Toyota would and will not tell me if 2015 corolla has takata airbags so it must have them. Thus, this 2015 car should be on recall as well. I understand Toyota is no longer using takata as a source for airbags. They have a system on my new car which shuts off the passenger airbag if no one is in that seat but that is not a satisfactory solution. Takata airbags are life threatening and should be removed from car and replaced at Toyota's expense.

Drain hose in air conditioning was clogged causing water to accumulate at the bottom of the car and soaked all the carpet. This is a relatively new car and this should not have happened. Other unknown damage may be done to the car as a result of water leakage (air bags, electrical wiring) which could pose a safety hazard.

The heating element on the heated seats has cause the seat to tear, as a result I am unable to use the heated seat. I have spoken to the dealership and Toyota but have refused to replace the seat. I believe this could be an issue with all Toyota corolla with the s premium package.

2015 Toyota corolla. Consumer writes in regards to vehicle sudden acceleration. *smd the consumer stated after she back out of a parking lot, she applied the brake, put the vehicle in drive to pull away from the barrier, when suddenly the vehicle accelerated to at least 30 MPH. After switching the transmission from park into reverse, the vehicle suddenly accelerated backwards and crashed into a cement block. The driver then shifted into drive and the vehicle accelerated forward, nearly crashing into a second vehicle. During the incident, the brake pedal was being depressed, but the vehicle would not stop. The manufacturer and local dealer (dunning Toyota, 3745 jackson rd, ann arbor, michigan) were notified of the failures. The failure mileage was 39,000.

Tl* the contact owns a 2015 Toyota corolla. The contact stated that when veering to the left or right, the vehicle made an abnormal noise. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the vehicle needed an alignment, the axle failed, and new tires were required. The vehicle was repaired however, the failure recurred. The vehicle was then taken to the independent mechanic where it was diagnosed that the wheel base measurements were not accurate. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 5,000.

I want to report that I found a loose bolt poking out of the drain hole on the rear passenger door of our 2015 toytota corolla. It was oriented in such a way that only the threaded end was poking out the hole and held inside the door by the bolt head. I took it to the dealer and as a courtesy they removed the door panel and determined it had come from one of the window parts (regulator or motor). They reinstalled and tightened the bolt. I read on the internet this was a serious problem with previous toyotas and created safety concerns. This may be a continued problem with toyotas. It was obviously a very small chance that the bolt actually landed in a fashion to partially stick out of the drain hole so I was able to spot this, so I can't help but wonder if other window bolts in the c
