- The side detection module became corroded, blew a fuse and stopped functioning. This was reported in a service bulletin and extended warranty protection for some GM vehicles, but not the Buick Verano. [XXX] - This happened while driving. The vehicle would still drive, but lost all gauge functions (No speedometer, tachometer, fuel, or temp gauges). -The side obstacle detection system does not work. -The system also interferes with the passenger side airbag and leaves it turned OFF with a passenger in the seat. The intake cam solenoid value failed without any warning. No light came on to warn me. The car would not accelerate and almost completely stop. I was entering a very usy interstate I - 20 and the car was stalling as other cars were speeding behind me. I could not accelerate at a safe speed. I made it to an exit. The car shut off . I put gas in because I was on a half tank. I thought it was gas related. I tried to leave the gas station the car cut off again. I had the car tolled to the dealership. I was told they didn't know why that happened. This was very dangerous to me with no warning that something was wrong. I could have been injured. Please explain to me what happen. Beginning in may, I started noticing odd declines in accelerations, randomly, even when using cruise control. Then, I almost stalled out on the road & lost power steering. This is dangerous & scary. I took it to the dealership & reported a hard shift from 1st to 2nd gear and my radio shutting off randomly, too. After looking over my car, I was told they could not 'replicate the issue' of losing power, and that they needed a code or an error message & to bring it back when I had that! I guess, it's ok with gm if I'm in an accident (or die) in the meantime, & I was told that the hard shift is just how the car runs. These answers are unacceptable. With regard to my complaint # 11040554 filed on line last month. Please be advised that so far no serious action have been taken to fix the problem in spite as per the gm adviser mr craig to check the car with two different Buick dealer mechanics who failed to address the problem to fix it. The problem still exist and the danger of the pass whatever he/she ia a boy or adult cannot be avoidable . So please advise me to avoid any possible danger and the car still under the manufacture warranty. Awaiting your help . Thanks
Pass air bag light was off most the time when a pass is there. Reported the problem two times to gm dealer near to me. But the dealer was unable to fix it. Call gm and reported it, with a case # [xxx] on 10/26/17, without any response till now. Please advise me about situation. Buick issued a Special Coverage Adjustment notice for the passenger prescence sensor Reference Number: N15202352 Letter was sent to all customers, I did not ever receive it. I recently started experiencing error messages with my airbags. Upon taking it to the dealer, the airbag sensor issue is related to the notice listed above. Because I never received the notice, I wasn't on alert for issues. I had to pay the full amount for the fix. My bigger concern is that with the airbag service error going off - if I had been in an accident, the airbag might not have deployed. This known issue should have been a recall and fixed in this car.

The contact related the failure to Special Coverage Adjustment: 23520 Passenger Presence Sensor (PPS) Module; however, the VIN was not included in the Special Coverage Adjustment. While driving home from work, my car, lost power a few times. Though, the maintenance malfunction light did come on, it was while the issue was occurring. I mention this because, in the car’s manual, it states that the light will come on BEFORE the malfunction takes place. I finally made it home, however, the car did continue to lose power while driving. The next morning I took the car to my mechanic, who experienced the same issues, then did a diagnostic test and found these results: P0011; CAM Position; RCTISATOR BNK 1; TIMING OVER ADVANCE. Today while reading over all of the complaints, it is evident that this is a SERIOUS ISSUE! There were no injuries. The service air bag warning indicator illuminated. The failure recurred several times. The vehicle was taken to the dealer (hirning Buick GMC, pocatello, id, 208-232-8900) where a road test was performed, but the failure was not duplicated. The paint has severely faded, chipping, and it is not from environmental factors- I have less than 30,000 miles on a 2016 Buick Verano. There are multiple websites confirming other consumers have had the same issues with their 2015/2016 Buick Verano.

I purchased my 2016 Buick verano on july 23, 2016. That evening while visiting friends, my wife and I left after it became dark. As we started to drive we noticed we could only see out of the lower quarter of the windshield. If I put the high beams on viewing becomes better. But you cannot drive around with the high beams on, all the time! I cannot drive this vehicle at night for fear of having an accident and hurting my family or another family in another vehicle. Tried to trade but they wanted to deduct $10,000.00 of my vehicle. Gm has no concerns for their customer's complaints as I even sent a letter directly to ceo of gm. In one communications with gm they told me, there was no fix for this and case was closed.

When I get on the highway the left front wheel shakes like it is getting ready to fall off. After I've been on the road for a while it stops. I've had front end alignment, balancing and tire rotation. It still does it every morning.

Fuel Sending Unit. Yes. Loss of power and control of vehicle due to no fuel. Mechanics have confirmed it as a common problem with GM fuel sending unit/pump No. No warnings, no lights, no indication of problem. I received a second pump and sending unit from GM and had the same problem for a 2nd time of fuel reading inaccurately and causing me to lose vehicle functionality.

The a/c turns off due to high engine temperature. There is a loud fan noise. Sounds like my car is still on. The alert turns on and off randomly.
