While driving my 2016 F-150 in heavy traffic, the vehicle suddenly loses all forward power as if the transmission were in neutral. The engine is running and the tachometer indicates the RPM's are approximately 1,200, but it will not respond to pushing the gas pedal. The RPM's remain the same, regardless of how hard the pedal is pushed. Shifting the transmission to other forward gears does nothing, it still acts as though it is in neutral. A wrench symbol appears on the main screen, as well as a message that says "Hill Start Not Available". The *ONLY* way to fix the problem is to bring the vehicle to a complete stop, turn it off, wait a few seconds, and then start it again. It starts very roughly at first. After one or two attempts at this, the engine will reengage with the transmission and

When the temperature drops below 30 degrees the drivers door will not stay latched/shut. Currently I cannot get into my truck via the drivers door. I remoted started the truck (outside temp 21 degrees) went to leave so I unlocked the door, got into the truck and attempted to shut the door and it would not latch. I pulled the door shut and hit the lock button and the door latched. I forgot something in my house so I got out of the truck and the door would not latch, I pushed it shut and hit the lock button and went in my house. Came out and the door would not open even after being unlocked. Rear passenger door is also the same way. This has happened multiple times

Tl* the contact owns a 2016 Ford f-150. In cold weather, the front driver side door was difficult to open and failed to latch. The contact was required to secure the door from the inside in order for the door to not open while driving. The failure occurred only during cold weather conditions. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed that the front driver side door latch, the front driver and passenger shields, and the front driver and passenger rods needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired due to the parts not being available. The contact mentioned that it had been two weeks since the parts were ordered and were not available for the repair. The manufacturer was notified. The failure mileage was 13,000. The VIN was not available.

Sunroof rails broke for the second time, and the sunroof will not close on the drivers side. This problem is putting extra pressure on the glass since it isn’t seated properly. Water also leaks in during rain storms and has caused electrical issues. I can now only drive this $95,000 vehicle in good weather.

Driving home form work I started getting an exhaust smell, kept driving and once I came to a complete stop at a light my entire cabin filled with exhaust white/blue smoke. I pulled over to check it out, opened the hood and the exhaust was coming from the back of the engine. A wrecker driver pulled up behind my truck, got out with his fire extinguisher for safety. He is the one who told me to look into the manifolds warping or the bolts breaking. The wrecker driver said the smoke in the cabin is carbon monoxide and not to transport and small children. The rest of the day, I had severe headaches. I took it to a shop and they have told me I will need new manifolds and gaskets and potentially a few other gaskets when removing the turbos. They also said this could have damaged my turbos

While driving in a remote area no trees, people or anything that could have hit the window, when the rear windshield exploded. The evidence seems to point towards the rear defrost heating elements getting too hot. Its important to note that the heat defrost was not on at the time. Outside temperatures 55 degrees and sunny. The fix is not complete yet but I have an appointment at safelite auto to get the windshield replaced. I called Ford, they said that it is not covered under warranty and there's nothing that they can do. The total cost of the repair is $679.00.

While exiting the interstate, making a hard swooping left hand turn, make truck shutdown completely. At approximately 40mph and turning, I suddenly had to fight the lack of power steering. As soon as I felt it stop it powered back up. This issue continued intermittently until I was able to safely come to a stop.

Truck will stall/shut off at a stop while towing. Red battery light will show on dashboard. Car will turn over then shut down again by itself within a few seconds. This happened 3 times at this point- once while in gas station in line to get gas (stationary) once at intersection (stationary at stop light), another time after stopping vehicle to get gas. At first event 30 minutes after it not working a jump started the vehicle successfully, at second instance jump would not start car, had to get towed, at third instance we were able to start vehicle by holding throttle down while putting in drive. Brought to Ford dealership- said nothing was wrong, would not work on truck, said no computer codes were found.

I've bought my 2016 f150 xlt fx4 sc 5.0l used with about 69k miles on it and had it for nearly a year now. Since I purchased the truck it will develop a rough idle and will stall while at a stop light. This will happen when I make a multi stop trip, for example if I stop at the market on the way home from work, or sometimes even just returning home from work. So far this issue has only happened on city streets. Outside temps are no factors as this happens in cold wintery conditions or hot and humid weather. Every time the truck stalls, the CEL does not come on or any other dash light except the battery light and I can restart the truck immediately with no issues. After the truck restarts there is no fault light on the dash and truck acts like nothing happened. I took the truck to an indepe

While driving on the freeway, I applied my brakes and noticed no reaction and my pedal went all the way to the floor to slow the truck. I was really luck there were no cars to my right because I would have rear ended the car in front of me. After all this I got a message for 'low brake fluid'. I passed 6 cars till I came to a stop.

The truck was set on cruise control when I accelerated to pass a moving vehicle on a freeway. The truck would not stop accelerating when I removed my foot from the gas pedal; I had to break hard to control the speed. As soon as I removed my foot from the break, the car engine revved up again and quickly accelerated from 70 to 96 MPH even though I was not touching the gas pedal. When I stopped the vehicle and put the truck in park, the engine continued to idle at a high speed. The diagnostic reader produced the error code "p068a - ECM/PCM power relay de-energized performance - too early". I took the truck to the dealership and they were able to reproduce the problem. To fix the issue, a new battery was installed.
