A known defect with the clutch is causing the transmission to slip when switching gears. Ford knows about this defect and yet did not issue a recall/extended warranty for all of the transmissions affected, only some. It's a $1500-$2000 repair and it's ridiculous that we should have to pay for their faulty machinery.
Shakes shutters since new have had in twice. Said both times not shaking or shuttering enough yet. Um im 52 I am a mechanic. We all know this is lemon I have owned numerous fords and would like this resolved

[XXX] daughter was driving her car on I87 in Albany NY when oil pressure light went on and car speed dropped from 65 to less than 30 while in middle lane of interstate forcing her to cross over lanes onto shoulder roadway and exit ramp where it lost all power. Have learned that the oil belt system failed without any warning or notice causing incident. Have since learned that vehicle motor has been damaged beyond repair and needs replacement. Contact with 4 separate representatives of FORD Customer Service has resulted in FORD denying our requests for assistance to replace the motor. The contact owns a 2016 Ford Focus. The contact stated while driving 25 MPH, the vehicle made an abnormal whining sound while shifting into gear. There was no warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an unknown dealer, where the transmission was replaced; however, the failure reoccurred while driving. The transmission was replaced a second time; however, the failure persisted. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and informed the contact that he had to pay out-of-pocket for the repair because the vehicle was no longer under warranty. The failure mileage was 10,000.
Something wrong with the transmission the one that Ford extended warranty on and my car is a 2016 and Ford extended it 10 years and they said it ended a few months ago as well as the TCM replacement I didn't know about because I just purchased the vehicle a little over a year ago.
Car has been vibrating whenever accelerating since the first 6 months after it was purchased. Car was purchased in 2016. Started stalling a few months ago after any stops. Thought maybe transmission oil was low or dirty so I had it changed. Right after oil change check engine light came on and car began driving as it would get stuck. Had the car coded and it came back that the clutch was getting jammed. When I contacted Ford they said this was a known problem and that they would fix it as long as I was under 100k. I am an uber driver full time and my car is over 100k. Called Ford recall office and they told me I was never notified of this extended warranty because my car didn't fall under the year of the clutch issues. Ford has been trying to buy back my car 4months since I drove off the l
The 6-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission has a well-documented shudder when beginning to accelerate- jerky motion, no or delayed motion, extreme shaking of the front of the car. It happens repeatedly. Ford has repaired this problem once, but the repair process was faulty, as the problem has returned. In 8/2019, Ford extended the warranty on the car to 7 years or 100,000 miles, for focuses built between july 4, 2013, to nov. 5, 2015. My 2016 focus was built after this date, so Ford is not making the repair. They claim changes were made to subsequent models to alleviate the need for repairs-- but my 2016 focus is problematic for the second time, shooting down that assertion.
The contact owns a 2016 Ford Focus. The contact stated that after starting the vehicle, the gear shifter failed to shift out of park(P). The vehicle was towed to the local dealer, but no failure was found. Additionally, while attempting to accelerate, the vehicle shuddered and vibrated while reversing and the transmission erroneously shifted into neutral(N). The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed message "Pull Over, Transmission Overheated" was displayed. The vehicle was later towed to the local dealer. The cause of the failure was not yet determined. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, but no assistance was provided. The contact was informed that the vehicle did not qualify for the s power train Extended Warranty Coverage. The failure mileage was 15,090.

Kept getting my check engine light is says something about bleed up pressure in the fuel tank which when driving my throttle is not as responsive and when I fill up from Empty I have to give it some gas in. Order to start and would sit at the red light or a stop sign with the clutch pressed in and it would sputter and stall which I would have to give it gas to restart the car
The evap purge valve assembly failed. An engine warning lamp did appear. While driving down the interstate the incorrect fuel mixture caused the vehicle to stall while in motion with my wife, and at the time, [XXX] son were in vehicle. Although there was no accident, all power was lost and the vehicle had to maneuvered into the shoulder to prevent rear ending other vehicles. This was the 2nd time in 2 weeks. The vehicle was called into the Ford recall line, as there has been an open recall on the vehicle model and year. The ford recall line said the vehicle was not affected by the recall, and no recall repairs had been made the vehicle. The ford recall rep recommended to take the vehicle to a ford dealership. The vehicle has been inspected by a Ford dealership. The dealership confirmed th

Wipers suddenly stopped working while it was raining causing a serious safety risk. Couldn't continue to drive so was pulled over on side of the highway until rain stopped. Later wipers came on by themselves while switch was turned to off position and would not turn off until fuse was pulled. Have replaced motors and switch and they haven't been repaired. No longer working at all with no response to the switch at all.
