This has been going on for a while now, but it’s getting worse overtime. If I push on my brakes more than twice the brake pedal locks up and I have to push extremely hard to get my vehicle stopped.. luckily I have never been going fast and had to worry about this. This is normally when I am pulling into a parking spot or I am backing up that I have to tap on my brakes a few times. A couple of times I have bumped the pole in front of my parking spot due to not having brakes. I just put in a general date as to when they started to get worse.

Transmission shutter causes the car to vibrate which could lead to transmission failure.

12/17/2019 56,000 mi ODI #11289661.0

Beginning around 56,000 miles the transmission started lurching and stuttering at slow speeds. It is worse when cold but never quite goes away. Dealership kept it for 3 days and felt it but said all was within normal range. Beginning around 65,000 it started stuttering when trying to accelerate while in motion, such as on the highway when trying to pass. This is not only annoying but dangerous when you can't get the power you need when needed because the transmission can't decide when to shift.

The engine accelerated, but the vehicle struggled to move and shift gears, making it difficult to cross the intersection. After a short distance, the vehicle accelerated again, but there was no forward movement. The vehicle was subsequently parked in a nearby neighborhood, where it became completely immobile. Attempts to engage reverse or drive were unsuccessful. The vehicle emitted a loud noise, and a check of the transmission fluid and other fluids revealed no issues. After turning the engine off and restarting, the vehicle was able to engage drive, but it was limited to second gear. The vehicle then lost mome

I started noticing issues with my transmission around 55,000 miles on it. It first started with no noticing that it wouldn’t gear down when it needed to, and then when it finally did gear down, it would really jerk the vehicle. I started calling GMC then and questioning and putting in a claim. Just went back-and-forth four months. Now it was getting worse to where I could feel the transmission slipping it wouldn’t kick into upper gear or lower gear. Again, I was still calling GMC and reporting these issues. I was told to take it and have a transmission oil change, which I did costing me $300. I still noticed this problem and I continue to call. I kept being told that they would have somebody call me back which nobody ever called me back to find out specifics. I took it to a GMC gar

My 2017 GMC yukon’s transmission is defective. The SUV will jerk and jolt when shifting gears. It is extremely unsafe to be driving when you need to release the gas pedal and press down again in order to shift properly. This causes an even more sudden jolting. This is extremely unsafe as a family vehicle especially when you have a newborn. I ask a recall be submitted since I see several reports of a similar issue with the 2017 GMC yukon.

Front magnetic shocks quickly failed, part no. Sk3354. Part has been on backorder for over a month, which means it is failing on many vehicles. Part is known by repair shops to be defective, but they say the replacement part lasts longer. Gm should pay something toward replacing this defective part, which is on many of their vehicles. Failure of this part causes vehicle to bounce excessively which makes the vehicle more difficult to control.
