Hood latch allowed hood to fly open at 30 mph, causing $3100 worth of damage to car, Potentially causing serious other vehicular/occupant injuries. Apparently the latch was inadvertently engaged, but the secondary latch did not hold and let the hood fly open. This incident happened 8/2023 but was not reported to Nissan and while estimate was obtained, repairs were not made.

MY PASSENGER DOOR HAS BEEN CATCHING ON SOMETHING AS IT OPENS. THE BLACK PLASTIC PIECE THAT STRETCHES OUT AS YOU OPEN THE DOOR IS VISIBLY SCRATCHED, AS IF IT IS CATCHING ON METAL IN THE DOOR.
