If the spoiler detaches while driving, it can become a road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash.

Fix: BMW will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the spoiler, correcting its attachment as necessary, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin May 1, 2018. Owners may contact BMW customer service at 1-800-525-7417.
