Certain vehicles, may have a condition in which the sensing and diagnostic module (SDM) was reprogrammed during service with the incorrect calibration, which is intended for high performance (HP) vehicles. When the SDM in a non-HP vehicle is programmed with software for an HP-vehicle, the SDM will command the deployment of the 2nd stage airbag inflators in some lower severity frontal crashes. This condition may cause more airbags than necessary to deploy in some low-level crashes. Reprogram the SDM with the non-HP calibration.

I picked up the car a few days later and was told that it was fixed but after the accident , I'm sure it wasnt.
