About a year ago, I started getting a slight shudder in my transmission so I took it to the dealer for repair. They couldn't get it to shudder. Several times I'll be driving down the road at or around 45mph and the truck will start shuddering so bad I feel like I have to pull off the road. Every time I take it to the dealer for repair I end up losing my truck for a day and they tell me they can find anything wrong even though this is a known issue and there is a tsb out to fix the issue.

My 2018 Colorado Z71 (40,000 miles) suffers from transmission shudder intermittently. Dealer took it for a 14 mile test drive and was unable to duplicate. Blamed it on the tires. Refused to flush transmission fluid in accordance with GM TSB 18-NA-355. Shudder becomes worse when trailering boat. Known issue to GM, however, dealers refuse to perform the solution provided by GM in the absence of a recall.
While driving on city street and highway, transmission shifting at speeds of 25mph,45mph,55mph start vibrating also coming to a stop feel like a rear end bump.
I have a 2018 Chevrolet colorado lt 4wd crew cab. Multiple times on a cold start the engine is misfiring. The check engine like comes on, the vsa, and t/c lights all come on and a notification on the dash saying stabilitrak is disabled. The vehicle shakes terribly. The check engine light will flash and then go solid. I am an automotive technician. I know that a misfire should set a hard DTC. When the vehicle is turned off and started several hours later there is no check engine light or any other light on. The dealership in marysville, oh had my truck for 3 days and told me they cleaned a bunch of terminals at several connectors. Whatever that is supposed to do. They said they started the vehicle several times after and everything was good. The next day after I picked the truck
The truck's drivetrain/transmission constantly shakes, shutters while driving. It happens periodically throughout the RPM ranges.
Highlighting a materials defect with the rear crankshaft reluctor ring on the 2.8 LWN Duramax, installed in the Army Infantry Squad Vehicle and the 2015-2023 Chevrolet Colorado, from which it is based. When the ring delaminates, due to age, the vehicle engine shuts off and no start, rendered dead lined, as the ECU can no longer "see" the crank position. Requiring the transmission to be removed to rectify the issue. I was pulling a trailer up a hill on the freeway when my truck down shifted, in an effort to slow down for a bus that was merging unexpectedly and the truck died at speed. The increase in RPM initiated an unplanned, instant disassembly of the ring due to cracking on the material and increased centrifugal force, shutting off the engine without warning, at speed. Again, just dead
transmission shudders from 20 to 60 under light acceleration. took to dealer and said that needed different oil. dealer stated that a common issue with these vehicles. Cost $500 to replace oil to proper oil.
transmission is not shfting properly.Truck losses speed and shutters when trying to accelerate.Difficulty climbing hills.Especially dangerous when merging with traffic.Only 33,000 miles on my truck.GM should recall to address this much complained about issue.
I had truck stationary parked on a slight incline on a dirt road for about 5 minutes when I heard a odd sound like "arrrrr clunk" and my car rolled down a hill. I had my car on park while on 4low with the engine off. I did not have my parking brake on though but the incline was so slight I feel I did not need it. My truck was not loaded with any extra weight or anything to cause it to roll down the hill. I truly believe I am not at fault for this happening it is a brand new car how could this happen? Prior to this I was not doing anything extreme to damage my car in any way. Something must have failed on my truck.
The truck vibrates , stutters some times when driving. Went to dealer he said it has been happening in trucks. He said thicker trans oil should fix it. Is this just a band aid for a bigger problem. Would like your view. Thanks.

He wiring harness to the 4wd kept coming on which wouldn’t allow me to ingage. Mountain Chevy citified mechanic found a chafing on the wiring harness. After filing it my truck started to light up like a Christmas tree, Stability service, trailer brake service, Locker service, Power streering service and they done turn off. Which is caused by more chafing wires that are to close to components of the engine bay getting to hot. Now my power steering turns off and when driving the truck it kicks on and make me loose control of the vehicle. Big diffect on Chevys manufacturing this vehicle. I’m not able to drive it and now they keep telling me that they don’t have the part or can’t find it.
Brand new 2018 midnight edition Chevy colorado less than 24hrs on the engine and had less than 900 miles on it. Went to go to work one morning and it wouldn't do anything. No revere. No power steering. All lights and gauges were flickering and going crazy. Engine was chugging and making odd noises.it would not move from my garage/driveway. Had it towed it to nearest dealership. Over 2 weeks of diagnostics it's either a steering module or a wiring harness part. Dealership tells us its faulty wiring/steering module. It is an intermittent issue and it's hard to diagnose. I really feel that this could cause many safety issues since power steering was completely out and it wanted to shut off on us. This could have been bad if it happened while we were driving it to work. The dealership we purch
While driving, specifically when making turns at various speeds, the steering wheel would get jammed up and be almost impossible to turn back to complete a turn/get straightened out. Happens on both left and right turns. First happened about 2 weeks ago, just one time while exiting my driveway. I turned the engine off and back on and it seemed to go away. It is now very clear that it is mechanical in nature, somewhere close to the steering wheel in the console. I have an appointment next week with the dealership, I will update with the findings.

A/c lines near driver side wheel well has chafed through fuel line and wire harness.Causing a couple thousand dollars in damage.Nor warning indicators leading up to either incidents. My chevy dealership mis diagnosed it twice and has now found the issue. Fuel lines leak can cause fires and as far as the electrical issue I've been left stranded with my 3 year old daughter a couple of times..Have looked up forums and many people have had the same issue.
Electrical problems with Chevrolet Mylink display. A variety of errors include backup camera flashing on at highway speeds, hands free phone calls put on hold, navigation screen flashing random inaccurate destinations. These distractions impair safe operation of the vehicle. Dealer verified issues but could not perform diagnostics on a timely basis. Issues continue.

The Stibilitrack in the truck went out just after 20 minutes of driving in 34 degree rainy weather at 65 mph. Found out that it was the passenger front bearing reluctor had chipped away, which is what the wheel speed sensor reads. Once one those go out, you lose Stibilitrack and ABS. I believe that this is a significant safety issue, and a poorly engineered/designed system. The rear system reads gear which is what should be in the front should have as well, not a "magnetic ring". This should be fixed so that noone gets injured or killed. It's also a waste of consumer money that you have to change out an entire wheel bearing hub assembly to fix the issue. Shame on the company. In the photos, notice that half the black ring (the reluctor) is missing.

A faulty engine block heater caused the engine compartment to catch fire while the truck was parked, turned off and the factory installed engine block heater was plugged in.

Rear back up camera at night is extremely bright and blinding to driver. Makes it useless at night and dangerous. There's no way to lower brightness setting for night time back up moves. I've seen many complaints on this. We owners shouldn't have to pay to have this fix.

I detected the smell of fuel while the vehicle when it was both not running and running. I brought the truck to Banks Chevrolet in Concord NH. The high pressure fuel pump detached from its mounting flange, resulting in damage to the attaching high pressure fuel pipe causing a constant fuel leak. Dealer replaced the high pressure fuel pump and high pressure fuel pipe to resolve the concern. There is a NHTSA recall that my vehicle should have been included in, 18V358000. The GM recall number is 18188. I paid out of pocket (~$1500) to fix this safety issue when it should have been fixed initially with the recall.
