On the evening of november 27th, my car with 10,200 miles had multiple issues making it undrivable. I attempted to pull my car out of a parking space. When I put the car in drive, I felt a hard thrust. The thrust was so hard that I felt like a car hit me. I attempted to put the car in reverse; however, it would not reverse when I stepped on the gas pedal. When I put the car in drive, it barely moved. As it moved, I felt the power steering lock, and I could not move the steering wheel. I turned the car off and on three times and encountered the same issues. At this point, I was stuck in the middle of a parking lot in a odd place where cars had to go around me. When the tow truck arrived to move the car, the driver encountered the same issues. He pointed out there were no rpms on the car. Th

On or around october 16 2019 I was driving my 2018 Chevy tahoe when the radio stop playing. I pulled over in a hotel parking lot turn the vehicle off open the door and then started the vehicle back up. The radio did not work. I went to mcdonald's to have breakfast it was about 30 minuets before I got back in the truck started it up and the radio stated to play. I thought it was strange so I continue to drive 2 days later my check engine light came on so I took it back to the dealer to see what was wrong. They told me that they clear the code and nothing was wrong with the vehicle so I then got an oil change since the vehicle was already in the shop. On november 2, at around 3:20 my car RPM was on 5 and the speed limit was only 23mph. Then the check engine light came back on. I call the dea
Back up camera has zero visibility while backing up during night in dark area with rain condition. The rear back up lights do no illuminate enough light to guide the vehicle. The camera image is too grainy, distorted and pixelated.
Passenger window when rolled up it rolls down automatically. Button has to be held in the upward position for window to stay up. Has already been serviced by dealership.
Entire vehicle loses electrical power. The vehicle does not shut off, however. Lights, dash, display etc. Possibly a grounding issue. Problem has not been looked at yet, but has occurred twice in the last week. No warning lights available. Occasional park assist failure occurs, may or may not be related.

I had an accident in this vehicle where the airbags deployed upon impact (as they were designed). However, once airbags deployed, my vehicle was filled with smoke (from the airbags) and all of my windows were covered and I couldn't see out. Panic set in as I tried to get out of the vehicle and my door would not open. After several moments I thought about the door locks, they were engaged of course. Once I realized and hit unlock, the door opened. This isn't an issue as far as parts being a defect or anything like that, but today I heard of a Texas DPS Trooper being in an accident in his Tahoe. His took a front impact as well, and the person trying to help him couldn't get him out of the vehicle. It made me wonder if his locks were engaged too, and him being more severely injured may
I purchased a 2018 tahoe 20 days ago and at 45 MPH and 65-75 MPH I feel pressure in my ears which then makes me feel nauseous which leads to severe headaches. This buffering occurs every time I drive it. I have tried driving with the windows down / up, radio on / off. Nothing changes to lessen the effects. I goggled searched it today and found several reports and complainants about this issue but both gm customer assistance and my dealer says they never heard of the problem. The pressure occurs on local roads and highway, every time between the speeds of 45-55 and 65-75 MPH.
While driving vehicle it constantly revvs up uncontrollably. Almost like it's down shifting in low gear when my foot is off the gas pedal.
cruise control 2 complaints shown
The brake pedal is too close to the driver in relation to the gas pedal. The distance of each pedal cannot be adjusted independently. A driver's foot can be trapped in between the two pedals because of the gap. In a fatal situation, it takes longer for the right foot to move from the gas pedal to the brake pedal since the right foot cannot just move laterally to the left, but it needs to go around.
Caliper became stuck which produced smoke coming from tire. Had the caliper replaced. Then months later my forward collision system activated because a car in front of me stopped abruptly. After the car automatically braked to slow my car down, the brake never released and became stuck and the ABS light came on. Replace the abs sensor and two days later the brake engaged on its own while doing 60 mph on the highway. Now whenever the hill assist, collision warning, or anything else is activated, the brake engages and gets stuck. In addition, at times on the highway my brake will engage on its own.

I purchased this vehicle from jm chev in lufkin tx on oct 3 2019.driving it home I noticed my headlights were not working properly. After taking it back to the dealer iwas told the headlight assembly was bad. The dealer ordered a new one. It has been 2 months.I called gm parts and was told there were no headlights like this in the usa. No dealers have any in stock. These are the intellibeam headlights. In motion on state highway.
Back up camera has zero viability while backing up during night in dark area with rain condition.
steering 2 complaints shown
2018 tahoe w/ 60,000 miles began riding extremely rough any speed. So much bounce and jarring that the car is unsafe to drive on any rough road.
When stationary and turning on vehicle I had difficulty turning steering wheel. I received a notification that power assist was not active. This happened once before and I took to dealer. They claimed it was the battery and replaced. I see there have been prior recalls on tahoe for steering assist issues.

The contact owns a 2018 Chevrolet Tahoe. The contact stated that while driving approximately 65 MPH, the vehicle decelerated and abruptly slowed down and lost motive power. The check engine warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic who informed the contact that the SMR lifter and the engine failed. The contact called the local dealer who informed her that the parts were back ordered but the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure but provided no additional assistance. The approximate failure mileage was 104,163.

We just had to spend $1,000 to have the radiator replaced on our 2018 Chevrolet tahoe because it was leaking which only has 32,050 miles on it. The tahoe had a 3 year 36,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty, but we were two (2) days past the 3 year mark so they would not cover it. The tahoe also has a 5 year 60,000 powertrain warranty, but the dealership said that the radiator is not considered to be part of the power train only the hoses going from the radiator to the engine were covered under the powertrain warranty. In january 2019 gm issued service bulletin pi1513f (attached) for 2015-2016 tahoes for this exact same leaking radiator issue which states that the radiator replacement should be covered under the power train warranty. This is a known issue for 2017 & 2018 models also, but
A lifter collapsed, which in turn damaged the lobes of a piston, which then damaged the camshaft...generating a repair bill of $7,100 per the dealer. The vehicle only has 69,200 miles on it. When the lifter failed, the car shuddered at stops, lost some power and made a noticeable clanking noise. When pulling out from stops, or into traffic, the car hesitated somewhat before accelerating. This creates a very dangerous situation. Also, if more lifters or the camshaft seized up at higher speeds, a driver could experience a potentially fatal situation from an uncontrollable vehicle or a fire. Research shows that Chevy/GM knew about the lifter problem on 5.3 ltr engines with their AFM system for years and sold them anyway. They apparently have never solved the problem, and it still exist

While driving home, the the FAC, forward automatic crash, indicator light came on, I applied the brakes and watched to my dismay as my vehicle slowed down but would not stop. I applied steady hard pressure until impact with another vehicle in front of me. The FAB, forward automatic braking system never kicked in. I will contact the dealer concerning the above issue.

The contact owns a 2018 Chevrolet Tahoe. The contact stated that in 2024 the front windshield was damaged, and the windshield was replaced. The Insurance Company was notified and requested that an aftermarket windshield be placed on the vehicle. In May of 2025 the contact noticed that the Chevrolet Assist Camera behind the rearview mirror had failed. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who determined that since the windshield was not an OEM windshield replacement, the part caused the camera to fail. The camera was unable to be calibrated. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 82,000.
