Touchscreen display failure. Causes erratic and distracting behaviors of the HVAC, radio, navigation, phone, and other systems while vehicle is in use. Prevents setting or changing of safety related settings (ie; lane departure settings, automatic headlamp controls, alarms, etc).

The Radio is flashing a message and beeping asking me if I want to reset the clock. Reverse backup doesn’t work when this is happening and it is a huge distraction while driving.

12/02/2021 ODI #11442377.0

The Uconnect Radio has started to delaminate and causes the system to randomly change between radio, satellite radio, navigation, clock, etc. This fully integrated system also controls A/C, Heat, rear backup camera, all adjustable functions in the vehicle, and is unsafe when this happens. Dealership offers to update the radio but it has nothing to do with the software it's the touchscreen. Diagnosis and repair is around $1500.00 to $2000.00 not covered under warranty. This issue is with all models of Dodge Chrysler with 8.4" Uconnet radios as seen in the online forums.

The racetrack and the tail light do not work at all. I went to get my Durango inspected and they couldn't do it due to this issue. There was water coming out of the hatch when a mechanic was looking at this problem. I was told even if I spent a lot of money to fix it, it probably would repeat itself. My car has not been inspected for over month due to this issue.

The “do you want to adjust your clock settings” pop up screen keeps popping up repeatedly and disconnecting the car battery does not fix it.

The sunroof bursted and shattered in what can only be described as an explosion. Driver and passenger were occupying the vehicle at the time the sunroof broke. The vehicle was operated in a standard manner and driven on a highway. The sunroof without having observed any cracks or dings shattered without warning. The resolving explosive noise scared both the driver and passenger, which in itself could lead to an accident if the driver had reacted differently. Some of the shattered glass fell on the occupants. The majority of the glass from the sunroof lifted off and crash down on the road behind the vehicle. The drivers brother was able to witness in his rare view mirror the moment when the glass lifted off and flew over the back of the affected vehicle. There were no vehicles driving behin

I currently own a 2018 Dodge Durango SXT, the rear tail lights leak due to a failing gasket causing thousands of dollars of repairs, as well as electrical issues. This defect, that Dodge is aware of and refuses to recall, causes major safety issues such as the whole assembly to burn out causing visibility issues and other drivers not being able to see you from behind.

Vehicle tail light housings (3ea) are not adequately sealed and protected from the elements and allow water/debris to intrude. Water accumulation has caused dimming and shorting of lights. Dodge customer service was contacted and stated they are not currently and will not warranty repair.

Center tail light failure in the lift gate. On further inspection all tail lights have water intrusion. Obviously tail/brake light failure is a safety hazard, especially at night. Dodge not owning the problem and the repair parts are extremely hard to find.

My tailgate lamp also known as the race track lamp it's collecting water every time I take it into the car wash which it now cost part of my life to burn out which can be a safety issue if all of it completely goes out

Just bought this car in august. I didn't notice the entire rear red lights weren't working until I got pulled over. I'm guessing they didn't work at all and I just didn't notice it.

I bought this car, brand new off the dealer and it has been in perfect shape until 120,000 miles. All of a sudden the check engine light comes in and turns out it was the head gasket!! 5 years old, hasn't needed a thing and the mechanic tells me I need a new engine!? What good is it if I buy a brand new car and take perfect care of it all to end up with the engine going to [XXX]. I have heard other people saying the same thing with their 3.6l pentastar engine. AT 120K...I don't see that being a coincidence if it keeps happening with the SAME engine at the SAME AMOUNT OF MILES. There is definitely a problem here. P.s won't let me upload documents on the mechanics diagnosis. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

Doing some checking problems with this particular vehicle it seems that the water pump/ radiator has problems. My vehicle has a anti-freeze leak when at idle leaving a stream in the driveway. Thus causing a problem for pets and wildlife. The engine warning light has come on. The a/c compressor makes a noise also. FYI.

The 2018 Dodge Durango has a blown rear shock. I have wore shocks out but never seen blown seals. The car barely has 50k and is not covered under warranty, or my extended warranty. They are on backorder and apparently this is not a new problem. The soonest I can get a shock is the 23rd of next month. It is not safe to drive.

November 30, 2019, my husband and I were driving on the interstate, it was 34 degrees outside and we had the defrost and heat on low setting {1}. Then a sound like a gunshot, then cold air coming from the roof and could hear glass bouncing around. We pulled over. Saw what had happened and couldn't figure out how. No one was even around us when it happened so nothing hit it. Then looking closer, could see that the glass was raised a bit and the seals surrounding it were lifted in a few places. The sunroof exploded outward.
