The car stalls or does not start. When we hit the start button it clicks and then the display says the car is running. By no means is the car running. We have checked the battery and disconnected the battery to see if it would reset anything. No go. This has also been happening since we bought the vehicle two years ago. It has now decided it will not start at all.

It's a documented issue but not catastrophic. 299 complaints have been filed. Repairs average $850 and most owners catch it before it causes a breakdown.

At what mileage does the electrical typically fail?
