Engine started knocking at 65mph. Slowed to find a safe place to pull out of traffic lane. Before pulling over engine stopped but was able to get completely off the road. My safety was not directly at risk but had to wait at the side of the road for 4 hours waiting for tow. The dealer stated they have no idea what failed. The engine has not been inspected. The dealer told me I would have to pay to have it torn apart to find out what failed. There were no warnings except the engine knock. Oil pressure was normal, was not overheating and no check engine light. My safety could have been at risk had I been trying to pull out into traffic. Dealer has been doing all of the scheduled oil changes and inspections. I thought this may have something to do with recall 66A/NHTSA 23V-411. Dealer stated

ABS light and traction control lights on, on dash. With these lights on, the cruise control and 4x4 do not work. One garage replaced front right axle, wheel bearing, brake rotor, brake pads, and ABS sensor. Lights were then out for a day but then came back. Took to a second garage and they replaced right rear ABS sensor. Lights went out for another day and then came back. They are still on. Because of Christmas it's been hard to get anyone to look at it. Also they say this is a known problem without any definite solution.

Blower motor stopped working so couldn't get window to defrost so I could see to drive. Replaced blower motor, still didn't work took it to shop they said connector to the TIPM module had melted so had it replaced plus asked mechanic to check all wiring, grounds, ect to see why blower motor not working. Pd over 700. To have this done blower motor worked for 1 day now doesn't work again. I believe the TIPM module is a safety and health hazard besides all the other stuff it messes up that just drive you crazy so it's also a mental health hazard. It a manufacturer defect on almost all there vehicles, not just the few they did put a Tipm recall on. Ty

I was driving down the road and lost all control in the steering wheel. No power steering at all. A steering wheel with exclamation point light flashing on dash. Dealership quoting $4100 for this repair. I checked to see if there is any recalls and none for mine but many for models 2019 and above. It states "some" 2018 models. I would like to see if my repair qualifys for this recall. A costly repair like this on a 6 year old vehicle is financially straining and based on my research this is a common problem and seems to be a manufacturer defect. Safety concern- complete loss of steering while operating on roadway.

Electric Power Steering (EPS) failure. If this had happened while driving there would have been no way to control truck. The dash read "Power Steering Unavailable Service Required". Dealer tested truck and said EPS unit would need replaced at a cost of $2,345 for just the part and would be at least 45 before they could get the part. This truck only has 55k miles on it.

I purchased a new 2018 Ram Truck with an ECO Diesel engine. The engine has undergone multiple recall repairs including one for the EGR that could cause a potential fire hazard. The truck has been in service for multiple engine related issues since I purchased the vehicle. It has continuously had a rampant smell of antifreeze inside the cab of the vehicle which has made me feel sick on occasions and I must open the windows even in the winter months. After only 66,000 miles my truck suffered a catastrophic engine failure. Although Stellantis replaced the engine under warranty, the new engine only had a 2-year unlimited mileage warranty. 2 years has passed and the warranty is now no longer active and I am personally responsible for any repairs. My truck with the new engine has just over

When driving the check engine light came on, the car slowed up and would not start after. I had the truck towed to the dealership. The service manager told me the high pressure fuel pump shattered and shot metal debris through the system. The High Pressure Fuel Pump is not available even though it is on a recall list. I contacted Chrysler customer service, the representative essentially told me there was nothing they can do because the part was not available.

The contact owns a 2018 Ram 1500. The contact stated while driving 50 MPH, the vehicle lost motive power. There was no warning light illuminated. The contact was able to veer to the side of the road. The vehicle was towed to the contact's residence. The vehicle was then towed to the dealer, where it was diagnosed and determined that the high-pressure fuel pump (HPFP) had failed. When filling up with gas, it will not fill up without the causing the nozzle's safety switch to continually auto shut off(clicking off). Meaning I have to barely squeeze the nozzle so fuel barely flows into the gas cap slot taking 20-30 minutes to fill up because I can not set the lock on the gas pump nozzle to automatic flow. This is happening at all Gas stations so it is not an issue with the shape of a specific stations pump nozzle. The colder the weather the worse this is. Took in to dealer for a maintenance to see if it was just the float, but the stated to me without them further looking into the problem and having to charge me, it appears it could mean a full fuel tank replacement. My truck is only a 2018 and only has 56,000 miles on it so to me this shouldn't be happening.

The 8.4" UConnect Screen has a bubble along the whole top of the screen due to delamination. This causes the stations to randomly jump from station to station and if you make a phone call with the connected phone, after you hang up, it will start calling random people. You can disconnect the battery and leave it disconnected for a few minutes, but it starts back within a day. Upon Google search, there are multiple issues with this same problem with this screen along all lines of Dodge and Chrysler products.

During a road trip we exited the highway and suddenly we have a flat tire on Front right of vehicle. We saw no object in the tire it was just flat. We change the tire with our spare and got back on the road on the way home. After the first flat the Service Antilock Braking System and alternated to Service Electronic Brake System messages aper as well as the cruse control not working. After driving another 2 1/2 hours at less than posted speed, we had another flat tire out of the blue, so we pulled off the highway. This time it was the Rear Right tire that was flat, and again no object in the tire. Did this issue cause these flats? I checked Ram's forum's and internet to see that this error meant. What I found out is there are thousands of Ram truck having this same issue. In order

Cruise control on 65mph going down hill. Transmission dropped into a lower gear. Vehicle immediately slowed down immediately by probably 20-30 mph. Everything in vehicle was thrown forward. I struggled to keep control and thought I was going to roll and crash off of roadway, or hit another vehicle. This was not a problem for two years, until June of this year. Driven the same stretch of highway a dozen times without incident. 21,000 on vehicle now. I took the RAM tech for a ride to reproduce the incident. Did it on a small hill at 25-30mph and reproduced the problem several times at the same location of the hill. Transmission drops into lower gear, makes a kind of grinding or similar noise. Then it stays in this lower gear straining until the brake is pushed to turn cruise off. Told him o
