Shift lever to Park Alert on dashboard. Paid to have shift lever replaced on Blazer. Also had same problem on 2018 Malibu..paid myself to have shift lever replaced! I was NEVER NOTIFIED about a Class Action suit. I believe this is a MAJOR PROBLEM on GM vehicle. NEED GM TO HAVE A RECALL!
I am having a problem when I shift my car into Park to stop the car It will shut the engine off, but it will not shut off the accessories, and I have to restart the car and tried over and over again until it shuts off. Also the dash lights up to shift the car to park, but I already have
Steering assist reduced message, then no AC, temp gauge stuck at Cold, P0128 error Code.
The esc warning light comes in drains the battery from 14.3 down to 11.5 volts when auto stop kicks on. Gm has a recall on other vehicles for the same issue but my car is not listed
Yesterday I received a message saying Driver assist reduced. Today received the same message, and heard a whirring noise when car was started.

Shift to park message coming up on dash screen eventhough shifter was in park. Engine would not turn off. Had to shift several times for vehicle to recognize park . There was a recall on some 2019 Chevy blazers and a technical service bulletin issued, but my VIN number is not on the recall list. The current mileage is 37752. I bought the vehicle new. Dealership relaced shifter control at a cost to me of $553.60. If there is a safety issue, should a recall cover all ?
The contact owns a 2019 Chevrolet Blazer. The contact stated that the gear shifter had repeatedly become loosened, causing the gear shifter to move in a circular motion while in park(P). The contact stated that the "Shift to Park" message was displayed while the vehicle was in park(P). The contact repeatedly struck the back of the gear shifter while in park(P) to correct the failure. The gear shifter had been replaced on four separate occasions. The contact stated that the first three failures were repaired under warranty; however, the contact recently had to pay out of pocket for the last repair. The contact stated that the failure had returned. The manufacturer was notified of the failure but offered no assistance. The failure mileage was unknown.
When i put my car into park and go to shut the car off if starts saying put car in park even tho it is already in park. It will not allow me to fully shut car off when it says that. I usually have to put it back into drive and back into park again for it to register.
When placing the vehicle into park there is often a issue with the sensor recognizing that the vehicle stating that it is not when attempting to power off the vehicle. When stopping there are times that the vehicle is difficult to stop and there is not fault code as to what may be occurring.
I took my vehicle to the dealership for the recommended oil change on 09/15/2023. I am extremely good about keeping up on the routine maintenance. Upon arrival, the technician asked if I knew that my check engine light was on. I stated no, it was not on during my drive in and has not been on previously whatsoever. I scheduled a diagnostic for 09/20/2023 and brought it back to the dealership with 68,191 being the mileage. It was determined that my thermostat needs to be replaced. I then began receiving the message Steering Assist is Reduced" which is very unsettling. I am finding that a lot of newer model 2019+ Chevy Blazer owners are struggling with the exact same temperature issue, even those with way fewer mileage than mine for example a person who just had 25K on theirs. This needs to
My car has a shudder when it is cruising at 1500rpms. It is extremely annoying to drive when it feels like I am driving on rumble strips. I have had it in the dealer 4 times and they cannot or will not fix the issue. I have filed a lemon law claim and I am hoping to get it resolved that way.

My car lost power twice in the middle of heavy traffic we could have gotten killed .i was told it was a battery I bought a battery it happened again .The car goes totally black and it locks you in the vehicle you can’t get out I had to call for help scared to death
When the vehicle is in park and you try to turn it off with the start/stop button an on dash error code of ‘Shift to Park’ appears even though the vehicle is clearly in park. You are not able to turn the vehicle off. This currently is forcing me to restart the engine, put my car in reverse, shift back in drive, try re-parking and turning it off again, repeating the process until it eventually turns off. I do not know if my car is truly in gear or not. I’m afraid that it might cause a dangerous situation. GM has already identified this recall for other VINs of 2019 Chevy Blazers I believe it should be extended to additional VINs.
I recently stopped at a local store and put the car in park. A message appeared on the dash Shift to Park. I was not able to turn the car off and I had to move the gear shift back and forth until the message went off. I couldn't lock the car correctly by moving away from it. I used the key fob to eventually lock the the car. My concern is that if my wife is driving, she may not be able to lock or move the vehicle. This seems very unsafe. Should this be brought to the attention of the local Chevrolet dealer?

My vehicle was diagnosed with a faulty thermostat, specifically that the thermostat was sticking and needs replaced. My vehicle is at approximately 59,150 miles as of 12/27/2023. Prior to the diagnosis of the faulty thermostat, I intermittently received a warning message "Steering assist reduced - drive with caution", the thermostatic fan would run at full speed, and the P0128 check engine code was illuminated. These symptoms began approximately at the beginning of December 2023. The problem was confirmed by a certified GM dealership service department.
1. The power steering (confirmed by dealership) is causing vehicle to pull very hard in one direction 2. Something fuel related does not allow my car to accelerate properly. Foot will be on the throttle and accelerating and without moving the throttle the vehicle will slow, RPMS will drop then suddenly begins to accelerate again. 3. Car states it’s not in park after I shift into park.
We are noticing the coolant meter seems to be stuck on C, the AC is not blowing cold and we are getting a message that ACTION REQUIRED steering assist is reduced, drive with CAUTION. Today the brakes slammed on by themselves and almost sent my wife thru the windshield. Luckily she was in a clear area with no other cars around.

While driving the vehicle, an airbag alert goes off recommending service. It does not matter what speed I'm driving, or necessarily the weather. But it does tend to go off more frequently if it's hot or cold out. I have brought the vehicle in for service, but they can't seem to figure it out. Also, while driving, an adaptive cruise alert goes off at times. I have serviced the vehicle at least three times for this. It is happening less, but still happening.
