All or most of the 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 and 3500 models are having the same exact issue, the coolant hoses that cools transmission oil are exposed metal to metal rubbing against each others, and over time from driving normally will eventually cause transmission oil leaks in different areas of the hose element, GM technicians acknowledge it a faulty design from the manufacturer , so GM adapted a customer loyalty program but only to deny a fix or repair at there own expense. This is definitely should fall under a manufacturer recall.

I purchased the 2019 Chevy Silverado 2500 Duramax on July 3rd with 60,000 miles on it and it is in great condition and so great for the price. Then about a week later I had to pull a trailer and it started to ding and say Warning check trailer wiring and then it would say trailer connected and it would go back and fourth ever 5 seconds and would be dining the whole time. I had to drive like that for 4 plus hours and it was very distracting. I was not able to check my speed, get phone calls, control my volume, and many other things which makes me very mad. This is a safety hazard for people in the vehicle and people around us. I really this that Chevy should make this a recall because there are so many people that have this problem and it is very dangerous for people because it makes you ta

The truck was issued a recall for the engine blocker heater which was performed. Since that recall was performed I keep getting low coolant warnings on the dash in error. The vehicles was taken back to dealer and everything was checked. They refilled the system just incase there was an air pocket but they warned me about 4 out of 10 people that have the recall performed continually get a low coolant light. The truck was fine for 2 months and now I'm back to having the low coolant light on. The coolant level looks fine. I called the dealer and they said gm knows about it but no fix is available because throwing parts at it like a new reservoir tank and coolant sensor doesn't seem to fix the issue. We're being told to simply ignore the warning displayed on the dash for now.
The fuel tank vent got plugged, which collapsed the fuel tank, damaged the fuel pump causing the truck to stall at highway speeds on the highway in traffic. GM certified mechanic at the dealership confirmed and mentioned that he had already repaired 4 trucks with this issue in Rochester, MN. Prior to the failure, the fuel gauge was inaccurate and a few days later the check engine came in at which time we scheduled an appointment with the mechanic.

In May of 2023, the truck developed a significant shake when driving on moderate road bumps. We took it to the dealer and they replaced the pitman arm and idler arm assembly for over $2200. Recently, the shake started again. We took it to a local mechanic who told us that the upper ball joints were completely worn out and had been for some time, certainly since before the visit to the dealer in May. We had the ball joints replaced, and it is still shaking. We will continue to try to diagnose the problem but now we feel like we cannot drive it because it is unsafe. I’ve seen online that Chevy has a reputation of having this problem with our model (2019 Silverado). I’m filing this report to let you know that we are experiencing this problem.

At liwer speeds my truck keeps surging forward. I only have 9500 miles on it and is one year old. Under normal braking it works fine, but at lower speeds it is a bear to stop. Yesterday I almost missed my turn because it surged forward, and last week it overshot the intersection by a few feet because it surged ahead.
I purchased a brand new Chevy Silverado 2500hd at the end of 2019. Periodically Service Trailer Brake System would pop up throughout the beginning, and soon became an increasing event causing my trailer brakes to stop working while towing heavy loads. This is an extreme safety hazard, not only for the driver, but for others on the road as well. How this isn't a recall already for the mere fact of the distracting chime, light alone the fact that the trailer brakes become inoperable at a moments notice is beyond me. If and when an accident occurs due to the nature of this issue, Chevrolet should be held fully responsible if a formal recall is not made within a timely manner.
