My 2019 Chevrolet Tahoe Premier equipped with the 6.2L V8 engine has experienced a major internal engine failure. The dealership diagnosed camshaft bearing failure with a recorded misfire on cylinder #5. The engine oil was drained and inspected and no significant metallic debris was found, and the dealership noted no evidence of abuse or neglect. Intermittent drivability concerns were present over the life of the vehicle and were addressed through professional diagnosis and repair each time. The vehicle has been properly maintained since new. Just months prior to this failure, the vehicle underwent full diagnostics and significant repairs, and no internal engine failure was identified. I also had this issue with my prior gmc 2017 yukon until i traded it in.. My currently 2019 chevy tahoe premier has always had services done when required with milage needed. My issue While driving viechle on freeway knocking with shaking sound in engine. Engine light would turn on. Even though with tune-ups oil changes done this problem still continued. Now my car is sitting on driveway and cant drive it

Vehicle will stall while parked causing a strong odor of gasoline. Takes several minutes of sitting with vehicle off before it will start again. The vehicle has also done this while coming to a stop. This vehicle has 41000 miles on it and continues to do this. It is used for law enforcement agency. I am required to respond to calls and this hinders response times to calls as well as emergent responses. The dealership has looked at the issue and blamed it on fuel having water in the fuel. They have replaced several items involving the fuel system. This has not solved the problem. Bob Ruwarts has not given an answer.

The contact owns a 2019 Chevrolet Tahoe. The contact stated that the vehicle was consuming an excessive amount of engine oil. While driving at 30 MPH, the vehicle stalled consistently while shifting gears. There were no warning lights illuminated. Upon investigation, the contact linked the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V274000 (Engine and Engine Cooling); however, the VIN was not included in the recall. The vehicle was taken to three independent mechanic,s who indicated that the failure was related to the engine. The local dealer was not contacted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was contacted, but no assistance was provided. The failure mileage was approximately 120,000.

Driving on the interstate when all the sudden there was no power to drive train, the rpm gauge red lined. I put gear shift to neutral and rpm gauge came down, at this time no check engine light. Coasted to exit and parked. Got out and look around Tahoe for damage none found, looked under hood and no damage or fluid anywhere, none found. Got back in Tahoe and shifted into drive. I drove on 2-line highway to nearby town; 25 mph is all it would go. There was not a chevy dealer in town, stop at a Ford dealership and they sent me to an independent shop. Check engine light came on as I drove to independent dealer. The automatic transmission on my 2019 Chevrolet Tahoe has failed prematurely at approximately 88,000 miles. The dealership confirmed internal transmission damage, specifically that Solenoid #3 in the valve body is sticking and not engaging, which requires a complete transmission replacement. Their written inspection states: “Possible internal damage in transmission. Solenoid 3 in valve body is not engaging.” The component is available for inspection upon request. When rain of moisture in around the vehicle, the safety restraint system warning light turns on. The transmission pump vibration on load in low speeds, afm sytem does not allow availble power when accelerating upon downshifts. The electrical USB outlets short making device projection feature, at time while using carcharger/cigarette lighter dc outlet.

Purchased 2019 Chevy tahoe lt on 10/27. Began having serious electrical issues on 11/26 with the message of 'reduced steering assist drive with care' message appearing after vehicle startup. When this message appears vehicle will not go in reverse and steering wheel won't move and car only goes about 5 MPH in drive. Car was towed and issue wasn't duplicating at dealer. They did inspection and returned after a week of testing. About a day after return of vehicle, message occurred again and this time we videoed malfunction. Vehicle is back at dealership and they cannot replicate again. First time vehicle was in shop, error code u0100 was present and we are currently trying to get codes currently present. Vehicle has been in service for 3 weeks and they haven't found a solid cause.

While driving on the freeway truck had lost all power and steering and braking capacity. The screen on dash went completely black with no warning signs. Vehicle could not accelerate and or brake other than drift in lane. Vehicle was without power for a brief time until power came back was able to not crash vehicle as this happened at a high rate on speed on busy freeway. When power did engage back on the dash lights now were full brightness and no control to dim it down could have been sign of definitely Electrical issues. This had occurred several times since it had this major problem! I then urgently took my vehicle to specific Chevy dealership for service and was refused service at dealership for the major electronic black out. I purchased my 2019 Tahoe 12/4/2018 and it is a 2019. I have only 9900 miles on the vehicle. In a parking lot my vehicle would not start correctly it was weak but eventually did start. THEN a message appeared and said Service Trailer Brake System. I drove to Starling Chevrolet Mt. Pleasant, SC and they diagnosed it as a module that is going to cost me 1,227.00 . I have never used a trailer. It is only 8 months over the warranty per the dealer. I looked on line and found numerous owners have had this same Service Trailer Brake System service issue.

The contact owns a 2019 Chevrolet Tahoe. The contact stated that while driving approximately 10 mph, a second vehicle crashed into the rear of the vehicle. The contact indicated that during the crash no air bags were deployed and the front driver and front passenger seat belts did not retract. After the incident, the front driver's side and front passenger side seat belts remained inoperable and the air bag warning light remained illuminated. No injuries were reported and a police report was filed at the scene. The cause of the failure was not determined. The local dealer and manufacturer were not contacted regarding the failures. I had pulled away from back door of store after dropping off a donation. I drove about 30 feet when my passenger side rear door popped open and tapped a fence post. Every airbag went off in the vehicle, except for the steering wheel. I could not have been going more than 5mph. It sounded like an explosion went off and frightened me terribly as I am claustrophobic and was trapped in the vehicle. The insurance agent, and tow service said that that door hitting a fence post should not have blown every airbag in the vehicle. They both acknowledged that they had never seen that happen in all the accidents they have been to. I do not feel like my insurance company should have to cover this and I should not have to pay the $1000 deductible when there is clearly problems with all the recalls o

Transmission went out right at 70,000 miles!! I purchased my truck Jan 2021 certified from a chevy dealership. I have the app and everything connected to my phone. Not once did I ever get notified that anything was wrong. My truck has been broken down for a month now. I look up info to found out there's a whole lawsuit for our Transmissions!! How was this not a recall item?? The warranty won't cover it which is absolutely ridiculous. So now I'm out of a truck. With a huge bill to replace my Transmission. Literally I can send you a picture of my "chevy app" it says Transmission is 100% good to go. It's BROKEN DOWN. If maybe my app would of worked correctly I could of had my truck in the shop before the Transmission went down in the middle of me driving. There was absolutely no warning sign

When I get up to a certain speed the car begins to shake. Tires were checked for balance. My public records show a recall # N192261050. I have the Product Safety Recall and it describes this issue in the recall. I bought the car in 2023 and just began experiencing this in June of 2025. It only happens while driving 60-70mph. Have not have this fixed thinking it was a road issue but have had several more incidents with this happening and now it's a safety concern.

Alignment and suspend has vehicle shaking,rumbling and shifts all over when hitting a bump in road. J.B.A. Chevrolet had detected alignment/suspension problem. Had check engine light come on but Carmax claimed it was a history code. The transmission had to be replaced. Still experiencing multiple problems with said vehicle.
