At just 41,000 miles, the oil pressure sensor has failed. There are many on-line reports of this issue going back several years for the Genesis G80 sedan. It appears this is NOT covered under the 10 yr/100,000 mile warranty and is only covered by the 5 yr/60,000 mile warranty. In my case, this part failed almost 5 years to the day. Oil pressured sensor went bad $2500 fix from dealer. In Korea this is a recall. The Genesis forums are full of complaints regarding same issue. The factory should cover this but the 10 year 100000 mile warranty does not cover it since it is considered an electrical part.
