Fuel injector went out while driving known problem honda only recalled some of the vans not all

Our front camera on windshield failed at 96k miles, causing all lights to come on the dash. This resulted in all safety features failed and even basic cruise control doesnt work. Lots of Honda owners have same issues and the result is that it is a failed front camera which could cost around 2k to replace. There is no other way around it. It is found out that the camera could over heat leading to failure. This issue should be a recall because it is a safety concern. Could you please look into it? Thank you for your time.

Braun wheelchair conversion on 2019 Honda odyssey. Gas overflows from below due to gas line in fuel tank. Fuel tank replaced on Honda by braun, braun hand builds the defective tank. Fire department had to come because of all the gas overflowing under van. I had filled the gas tank night before, 12-16 hours later while parked in my drive way gas was leaking onto driveway at least 2 gallons. Looked like a slow drip that time I saw it was a spewing faucet. I had van towed to Honda dealership but was transferred to braun dealership. Braun is going to make another fuel tank after jan 6 in indiana then ship to lubbock texas end of jan, early feb. Same set up ! I don't want this unsafe van that may again spew gas and high risk for explosion or fire.

The adaptive cruise control stopped working while it was on and we were driving. Also the lane keep assist went out at the same time. It appears to be an extremely common issue in this cars with the front sensing camera which is the issue we have.

At the grocery store and trunk would not close. Warning on the dash says “power tailgate problem”. Stranded my wife in the parking lot until she was able to get in touch with me to tell her she had to close it manually. It’s very hard to overcome the actuators manually if you’re a smaller statured person.

Driving 60mph on the highway, everything electrical shut off and on several times. The dash screen, the touch screen, the AC, the lights. I immediately took an exit and got off, and when the rebooting stopped I was going about 30mph and the car shifted by itself into park. Then there was a horrible grinding sound of metal on metal...I hit the brakes to pull off the road the car got under 20mph and stopped instantaneously. I had the car towed to my local Honda dealership and they said they cannot replicate the issue, nor see any error codes. They will not take apart anything to check for damage to the parking rod because there were no error codes...And they want me to pick up the vehicle today.

Vehicles in motion on freeway and city roads. Dash warning lights go haywire when driving. Loss of of lane keep assist and adaptive cruise control while driving is a serious safety issues. All warning lights turn on. Dealership reset the computer but issue not resolved. Issue has been happening since october 2018. Honda roseville automall dealership made repairs yesterday 12/27/18 by resetting computer. Still did not fix problem.

today ( Dec 30, 2025) . my wife was driving my HONDA ODYSSEY on Highway 287 east NJ ( closed to livingston NJ ) . Here is the whole thing : The ODYSSEY suddenly stopped while my wife was downshifting. At that time, there was a car in front of our car at least 30 feet away. Once the car stopped almost completely. The vehicle listed above with Vin [XXX] often does not takeoff properly. When pressing the gas, it lunges forward as though it did not receive any gas to the engine or the engine stalls, or does not operate correctly. This issue has been addressed with several mechanics, and no pertinent ruling has ever been established as to why the vehicle does this. Since purchasing the vehicle, I've had several incidents where my safety and those inside my vehicle are compromised due to the loss of drive power and stalling of the vehicle while driving. I've complained to the dealer for which they continued to assure me that there was no problem detected during the safety inspections. Recently I received the recall notice to replace the fuel pump module which was causing the issues that I've experienced with my vehicle. I took my vehicle to the dealer on 11/11/24, where it was serviced to correct the recall issues. However, I continue to have the same problems of stalling and loss of drive power when driving the vehicle. Vehicle was driving normally down the highway then proceeded to shutdown without warning. Suddenly all of the trouble Lights appeared indicatinging engine, transmission, hill assist etc cut on without warning. The van would not drive above 55 mph when turned back on.

Currently own a honda odyssey 2019. The transmission is unstable at times. From a speed of 25-30mph, it performs hard shifts i think from the 3rd gear. We can really feel the jerk of the van along with a sound like metals slipping or something. It doesn't always happen therefore the dealer could not fully diagnose it and called it normal or wait for it to get worse. Yeah right!

Delay or rough shifting betwee 2nd, 3rd and 4th gear. Sudden deccelerations Sudden loss of power twice happened on the free while accelerating.

This echos many of the existing complaints with the transmission already filed. When pulling away from a stop, the car will lag, then suddenly engage the wheels causing the car to jump forward. Some times there is a slight wheel spin etc. I have already taken it to the dealership, they said there was nothing wrong with transmission replaced the transmission fluid and reset the transmission controller. No change in behavior. I've been living with it, but recently drove another honda minivan and realized just how "not normal" the behavior is, and quite frankly how dangerous this has been all along.

I am getting a failing fuel injector that is not covered in Hondas openTSB. I am unsure how it was determined that only VIN are covered when it is the same engine for all 18 &19s. Honda is denying work but reporting because many others are having same problem and not covered on an odyssey forum. I believe it is an issue with more than the VINs in the extension. Recommending that NYSB collect data on all odyssey and see the failures

2019 Honda odyssey. Consumer writes in regards to various defects. *ld the consumer stated all the doors unlock independently. The sliding doors, including the rear hatch, unlock and open independently and while driving. The vehicle windows and sunroof open fully independently, while the vehicle was locked. *js

The driver’s side sliding door suddenly ceased operating in October 2024. It will sometimes open halfway or partially close, but on most attempts will only open about an inch. It works manually, but is very hard to pull.
