On somewhat random occasions the vehicle will not start, in total over 13 separate occasions. At times it will start after 5 or 6 attempts sometimes 20 attempts. On the last 5 occasions it would not start until a battery charger or other battery was used. I have used the last occasion for date of occurrence. Had it to the dealership 3 times and they cannot duplicate. It is a random occurrence sometimes after a week and sometimes after a couple of months. The last time in november I had to jump start it 4 times before I could get it to the dealer and they could not duplicate it. The vehicle is unreliable. The regional rep is now working with me and having me take it to the dealership one more time to check it again.

Despite two new batteries, within 10 months, I have been stranded several times when the car would not start. I checked with my local mechanic and the alternator is working correctly, but apparently there is a sensor that only works the alternator when doing non-city driving. I checked with Nissan today and even though this is clearly a defect, they charge $400 to disable the faulty sensor and do not consider it a design flaw

Have had several issues with the battery draining when nothing is on. Over the 2.5 years since I've owned the vehicle, this has been a constant problem. The vehicle has been to the dealership on several occasions and I was told that a wire from the computer to the electrical system was causing the problem. The dealer also told me they had to call Nissan Headquarters to try to troubleshoot the problem. There are several forums online discussing how everyone knows this is a known problem with the Armada, but nothing is being done. Went to buy a new battery today because it would not start or jumped, but was told the battery was actually good.

2019 armada with just over 5000 miles. Dead battery towed or jumped 5 times. Recall switch replaced. The problem still continues. Seems like a dead battery just 15 minutes after shutting off . We called but wrecker was a problem so we used a jump start. Battery is suppose to be a brand new one dealer said when we drove and dropped off at dealership this a.m. Have no idea how it could just be the battery. It shows it's charged once started. We live in a rural area and of course like anyone we need a dependable car. Seeing others having such problems tells us Nissan may be a car we return as a lemon. Each time cell service has been very limited. Texting worked so I could get my husband a tow truck. Nissan has our record we will obtain and keep. Last night all lights etc. We're op

The Armada drains the battery for no reason. The frontal collision warning comes on while driving even if no car are near and stays on. Car has power but will not start or release the gear to neutral. This has happen in several occasions and then it starts later on and no code for draining battery was found at dealer. They try to blame it on the trailer brake. I remove it and it still does the same. Trailer brake wiring was done at factory. Car only has 20428 miles.

Car intermittent problems with not starting. Believe it has to do with smart alternator not charging cause of short distance driving and not getting full charge so it runs down the battery.

I purchase my Nissan armada in april 2019. In november 2019 the car left me stranded with a death battery. I had to get it jump started and then drive it to the dealership, a low battery. This happened again in december 2019, same issue , they checked and changed the the battery. This year I had the same issue 4 times already sometimes parked at my house some at public areas, through out the year, the first two times they had to jump started . The third time the mechanic they sent couldn't started, since I was stranded in a public parking lot another person had to help. The fourth time the towing company could not get it started and it had to be towed. They have checked the ignition, the battery, the electrical and they can't find what is making the battery drain power and leave it usefu

While driving on the highway in Caguas, Puerto Rico, suddenly the sunroof glass explote it into pieces, falling inside the car. I did not pass under a bridge, there were no other cars around, simply exploted! Please do something about this defect according to online sources! Just don’t wait on thousands of complaints to do something since many people don’t know they could and they just rather paid and repair! Very unfair that the car companies are not assuming any responsibility!

In august 2020, I had to jump start my armada due to battery drained while parked. The very next day, same thing happened. Nissan reprogrammed ECM in september due to recall. Worked fine until october 21, when the same problem occurred again. I drove it that morning, but when I tried to start it that afternoon, it would not start and the interior just flash on and off. Had to jump start again.

I was driving on the Mass Pike (Rte 90) when exiting the highway the vehicle lurched and the engine started racing. Then the vehicle had no acceleration and would not go above 20 mph. I towed it to a mechanic who stated the transmission was shot. Six weeks later the vehicle was fixed and the transmission was replaced for a LOT of money!! There was no warning before the transmission broke.

This vehicle has less than 24k miles, and just surpassed the warranty period and suddenly with no explanation, it won't start due to a faulty start switch in the brake pedal which must be depressed to start the vehicle or shift into drive. 90% of the time the vehicle will not start. Only after spending 10-20 fidgeting with the break pedal while simultaneously pushing the start button and moving the gear knob will the vehicle start if you are lucky. Then you can spend another 20 minutes trying to get the vehicle to go into gear. The dealer and Nissan refuse to recall this item despite over one million complaints on the issue, and a history or recalls on other models with the same switch. But the dealer is happy to charge over $1500 to replace it. After spending nearly 70,000 on these cars n

Hissing noise coming from the brake pedal area when it's depressed. Thought it was a brake booster issue and notified the dealer immediately. The corporate rep told the dealer that it is completely normal because the booster is not manual but electrical. The noise continue to come from the pedal area like a big rig.
