At random times the car will get the check engine light (Code P2138 when scanned) & show a message on the dash saying “engine power reduced”. This happened to me twice while driving on the highway & 4 other times while driving on city streets. When this happens , I have to pull over to the side of the rode as fast as I can to avoid getting hit by other vehicles since the car looses power. The car has been to the Chevrolet dealership a total 4 times having the pedal replaced but the issue has not been fixed.
The "Safety Restraint system" service warning kept coming on the dash. The chevrolet place said they would have to change the "connectors" on the sensor under the passenger seat. So I had to pay them $100 to fix this. My passenger could have been in danger of NOT having an airbag deploy if needed if I was to get in a wreck! Yes the problem was confirmed by Westgate chevrolet in Burgaw, NC.
UNKNOWN issue but when gas peddle is pushed and speed is above 65MPH the vehicles dashboard lights go out and the car starts to sound as if it is going to shut down and power to the vehicle is declined dramatically.
The trunk will not open. It will not open even using the keyfob, using the actual key, nor pressing the button on the driver side door. There is a constant message saying that the trunk is not secured and the car is constantly alarming because of the trunk. Unable to open the convertible top. Message says to open top manually. There is no way to manually open the top

Prior to the incident (vehicle crash), immediately after the vehicle was purchased (March 2023), it was taken back to the dealership several times due to a slight noise and sensation the wheels and brakes were making. The issue was internment, and the dealership insisted they were unable to replicate the issue. It felt as if the wheels were momentarily locking when slowing down to apply the brakes. We thought it was a brake issue, but the dealership assured us the brakes were ok. Due to the ongoing issue with the interment, we decided to purchase new tires that were the recommended size for the vehicle, rather than the original tires it Recently (on 09/5/2024), we upgraded the wheels and tires to wider OEM spec wheels in an effort to improve the vehicle's efficiency during driving and bra

Brake pedal went to the floor during a track day. The camaro was a 1le track package and gm sells it with a warranty for track as well as instructions for changes to things including moving to a DOT 4 brake fluid. I had done that. I have video of the accident. I also have found it's happened to others as well, perfect brakes one corner, none the next. And I have video from in car from that person as well. Car turned right upon second application of the brakes, slide sideways into another car, then rolled. I have video, and pictures of the aftermath. Lf wheel was ripped off the car, tearing the brake line away and losing all the fluid after the fact. Car had 1680 miles on it about 20 minutes before when I had looked at the odometer. The camber plate nut fell off inside the shock causing me to lose control and go through a field. The camber plate is the only thing holding the strut to the vehicle and should have had a locknut from the factory as it's nothing more than a ball joint. It is available to inspect. It caused me to lose all control when it separated. I own a garage and confirmed failure myself. No i called Chevy about it and even asked if they wanted to send a factory rep out to look at it. I was told no and the only way they might be able to do anything is if i take it to the dealer for repairs. It was giving a small clunk at times that i thought was normal characteristics of the aggressive suspension. I do have pictures showing the failure as well if you would like them.
