Tl* the contact owns a 2020 Mercedes benz glb 250w. The contact stated he opened the tailgate of the vehicle and heard a strange noise when it was shut. The liftgate did not seem shut properly.the contact called the dealer keyes european Mercedes-benz. 5400 van nuys blvd, van nuys, ca 91401 (833) 517-5492 and told them of the issue . The dealer stated that they did not know of the noise issue and put off the contact's request for a loaner vehicle . They promised a callback on whether they could provide a loaner. The contact called another dealer and they said to bring the vehicle in. While driving on the highway at 79 MPH the whole vehicle shuttered and then the back of the vehicle exploded. My vehicle have bad smell coming from air conditioner vents. Took to the dealer two time in one month to find out the cause. It smells like mold inside the evaporator coil. Dealer cleaned with some kind of sanitizer to kill the mold. But the smell keep coming back over and over. Vehicle has only 3900 miles on it.

I immediately called the Mercedes 800 number and they transferred me to my local service center. I took it in and the guy was super nice, they provided me with a loaner and he said he would call me when the work was complete. He called me that evening and told me that my car was ready. I picked it up the next morning and the warning light was gone. Yes! Flashforward three weeks and the warning light came on again. I called the service center and they immediately set up a service appointment for that afternoon. He was again really nice and said it might take longer to diagnose and fix. The contact owns a 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLB250. The contact stated that while driving 65 - 70 mph, a loud noise was heard, and the sunroof glass exploded. The glass shards fell inside the vehicle. There was no impact on the sunroof that could have caused it to shatter. Another vehicle driving from behind the contact’s vehicle informed the contact that a gray object detached from the contact’s vehicle and hit the other vehicle’s frame and cracked the windshield. Car constantly cuts out and loses power as well as occasionally shuts off for no reason. Causing very hazardous driving conditions. I have noticed that this is a common issue stated in online forums with this particular car as well. It is more times than not an issue with the engine head and valves.
