Vehicle stalled while driving in center lane on I-4 in Orlando in traffic. There were no warnings prior to the vehicle stalling. When trying to restart it, the low fuel warning appeared along with the check engine light. I was unable to restart the vehicle leaving us stranded in the middle lane of I-4 in heavy traffic. FL Road Rangers arrived to offer aid and had to manually place the vehicle in Neutral under the vehicle at the transmission. Vehicle was then pushed off the highway onto the shoulder. Vehicle was towed to Starling Chevrolet which was the closest Chevrolet dealer from the incident. Starling's Service Department had to replace the battery in order to run a diagnostic. Once the battery was replace, the diagnostic indicated that the issue is with the Fuel Pump Power Con

I was driving and then the vehicle started running rough. There was no indication or warning lights before this happened. This is a huge safety issue because I could have had a wreck and injured people and my very own family. I took it to a Chevy dealership. They inspected the suburban and number 4 cylinder had a pool of oil in it. And they told me it need a new engine. Which it has the L87 engine that all the GM recalls are on. However, they are telling me mine isn't on the recall. They don't know if GM is going to cover it because it has 111,000 miles and it's out of the power train. It's the same engine they're having trouble with engines failures on. And I believe mine should be under the recall.

The fuel pump power control module (p129F, I believe) failed. I was in the carpool line when the engine sputtered then turned off, and would not turn back on. The engine light also came on. I had to walk my children the rest of the way, then got a tow truck. There were no dash light or other indications of a problem ahead of time. My local GM dealership was not able to get to me for multiple days, so I towed the vehicle to an independent mechanic. The mechanic informed me that there was already a recall on this part (Recall number N212332040). I paid for the repair, and when I contacted GM, was told that my VIN was not included in this recall. I would like my VIN added to the recall and other VINs with this same part that were not originally included in the recall.

12/15/2025 ODI #11705211.0

Vehicle experienced sudden engine malfunction including rough idle, hard misfire, and flashing check engine light. Vehicle was diagnosed with a collapsed lifter and internal engine failure. Metallic debris was found in the engine oil, including silver and gold/bronze particles consistent with bearing material. A Chevrolet dealer inspected the vehicle and determined that the engine requires complete replacement due to internal mechanical failure. Vehicle is equipped with the 6.2L V8 (L87) engine. The failure occurred without warning and presents a safety concern due to potential loss of propulsion. This vehicle is not currently included in the existing GM 6.2L engine recall, despite exhibiting the same failure characteristics reported in other affected vehicles with the same engine and ye

My wife was driving the car witb our kids when the check engine light came on and it started struggling and smoking. We got it to autozone to be scanned. The scan showed that it was a misfire on cylinder 3. After a mechanic trying to troubleshoot the problem he found that there was no compression. We towed the vehicle to a Chevrolet dealership where the found that the lifters in 1 bank needs to be replaced. This a known issue and a letter of coverage has been issued. However I'm being told that my vin number is not covered even though it is the exact same issue.

Went into limp mode on 11/6/25, took to the dealership where they found metal shavings in the oil due to a “stuck solenoid ‘A’”. Originally said that I’d need a whole new transmission, decided to do the cheaper easier repair and just replaced the valve train (not my choice) got it back on 11/13/25. On 11/24/25 I was on a very busy highway, at a red light, hit the gas when the light changed and the car didn’t move. Just revved the RPMs, then it suddenly lurched/surged forwards. Took it back to the dealership and they said “it doesn’t have any codes showing”. This is not normal behavior for a 4 year old vehicle with less than 40k miles on it.

We have a defective engine that stopped working after 120 miles. We can drive the car because it can leave us on the road or catch fire, this is what the mechanic told us, GMC option is to buy another car.

The headlamps are defective and unexpectedly break causing them to aim basically straight down towards the pavement making it unsafe to drive at night. In February of this year I took the vehicle to Cox Chevrolet in Bradenton and they said the headlamps would need to be replaced and it would cost several thousand dollars. I rarely need to drive at night and have been taking our son's car since then. There is a chance one broke and I didn't notice at first then the second one but, at this point, it is unsafe to drive the vehicle at night. I have found several posts on online forums where owners of other GM/Chevrolet vehicles with the same headlamps have had the same experience. Some have mentioned that an adjuster pin breaks and is not repairable (which I have confirmed with a service

Has been in the dealer multiple times for very hard shifting issues. Jerks when shifting gears from stop or in lower speeds. They have tried everything and cannot figure it out. But the techs have felt it when driving as well. It has been doing it for a long time. And it’s a concern when driving, I do not feel safe.

Car suddenly swerved, loud knocking started. Multiple system failures started flashing. Forward collision, ECS, traction control, the car was vibrating, jerky. I have multiple videos as well. The dealership literally told me they’d seen a ton of these when I called immediately and then told me to keep driving because the damage was done and if the engine died well then it’s under warranty. I have 3 children under 5 and that is NOT an appropriate answer when I asked about it being safe to drive considering it’s jerky/shaking/knocking, and has multiple systems down. I’ve also googled and joined forums and this is apparently a common issue in the 2021 V8s and Chevy refuses to issue a recall. Would be more than happy to provide videos as well it won’t let me upload them with the photos. Was to
