I am the original owner of this 2021 F250, (by my notes, dates & miles may differ slightly by Ford/Dealer records) I first noticed Death-Wobble around [XXX] @ 3,040 miles & Ron Alpen Ford checked factory alignment & ordered an updated steering stabilizer. Updated steering stabilizer was on back order until around 8/8/23 @ 26,647 miles when it was installed on the F250. As you can see, over two thirds of this truck's three year bumper to bumper warranty was dissolved by back order. This is where I believe Ford Motor Company's engineering group got involved & recommended a custom alignment, I believe this was performed by Ron Alpen Ford around 4/8/24 @ 33,486 miles. As you can see, over half of this truck's remaining warranty was dissolved waiting on Ford Motor Company's assistance. Ford Mot

The contact pulled on the steering wheel and the steering wheel detached. The steering wheel was re-attached. The vehicle was taken to a dealer but was not yet diagnosed or repaired. The steering wheel started shaking violently, fighting with me for control. Observers said my tires looked as though they where coming off. While this was occurring the vehicle drifted toward the center lane as if the alignment was out. Dealership stated it was called Death wobble a known issue on F-250's but it was not a recall

While driving on State highway 59, a small bump in the road sent the truck into a violent shake where I almost lost control of the vehicle. This violent shake is and can be life threatening to my family and I, as well as nearby others. Now Ford is charging me for fixing the life-threatening defect. It does not seem right that Ford by their defect threaten my family life with a year-old car and I have to pay for the fix.

On 11/1/2022 I was exiting the freeway at approximately 60 mph. When I went over the seam between the exit ramp and the service ramp the truck started shaking violently (also known as the "Death Wobble"). I immediately hit the brakes and slowed the vehicle to 30 mph and the shaking stopped. This issue is widely reported all over discussion boards on the internet and I cannot believe you haven't required Ford to fix this.

Tailgate realize button in cab also on remote works while vehicle is in motion. While reaching to adjust my pedals while towing on the highway at approximately 70mph tailgate button was pressed, allowing my payload to full all over the Highway. This could easy result in injury or death to others traveling on the Highway. Also, in certain states including Florida, children are aloud to ride in beds of pickup trucks.

I have tried multiple times to get AutoNaton Ford in Union City Georgia to rectify these issues. They have claimed they don't have an autobody shop to complete the required repairs. At one point, they had my vehicle for almost 2 weeks and they still did not complete the repairs.

Speed Control: During night driving on 11/25/2021 at 65 mpg on I-80, I released my foot from the accelerator to slowdown, BUT the F-250 failed to slow down. Upon applying the brakes, the truck slowed (a message on the dash stated I applied the brakes), BUT, upon releasing the brakes, the truck ACCELERATED. I repeated the braking solution, until I found a safe pullover. I shut the truck off & put the headlights to off from auto. Problem did not repeat, but the Blind Spot, Cross Traffic, & Airbag Faults continued as long as I had the headlights on. On 11/26/2021, I left a message with All American Ford, Paramus, NJ, Service Drive Manager. This was a VERY DANGEROUS DRIVING SITUATION!. NOTE: On 10/26/2021 the 2021 F-250 began displaying errors, as logged on FORD App Display Center; “Blind Spo

All of my rear lights stopped working with no warning. My blind spot monitoring and cross traffic detection also stopped working. This is a serious issue as the light go out intermittenly without warning. Especially dangerous at night. Dealership thinks it might be a faulty harness. Dealership thought they fixed it by cleaning contacts but the very next day they went out again while driving in a snow storm. Luckily no one was behind me because they would not have been able to see me.

Both the driver and passenger mirrors will not fully adjust. The mirrors need a different adjustment for standard driving and when towing a travel trailer. Neither mirror will properly adjust for towing and non towing applications. The lack of proper mirror adjustment causes a safety issue as the driver cannot see things in their full scope due to the mirror misalignment. I have almost had two accidents due to the mirrors not being able to be properly adjusted. Ford is aware of this issue on 2017 to 2023 F150, F250 and F350 trucks with the tow mirrors. Ford has issued a Special Service Message#51829. Ford has a cleaning procedure they wish to be done as part of the diagnostics but Ford and the Ford Dealer will not release this information. While Driving down the highway at ~75 MPH, the highway had a bit of a bumpy patch and when the truck went over this bumpy section of road the steering wheel started to wobble horribly and uncontrollably. It felt like a harmonic imbalance in the front end and continued until slowing down and pulling over. This is a very dangerous situation when this problem occurs- the vehicle cannot be effectively controlled. When I returned home I researched this condition and come to find out this issue is well known as the "F250 Death Wobble". We should all be ashamed that a car company was allowed to ignore this and not issue a recall. They know exactly what the issue is and chose not to fix it. I'm sure the bean counters at Ford figured that the number of deaths caused by this issue and paying th

My 2021 Ford F-250 equipped with the 10R140 10-speed transmission suffered a sudden internal failure around 100,000 miles. The failure symptoms and internal damage match the defect Ford acknowledged in Safety Recall 22V-256, which applies to the 2020 F-250/F-350 trucks using the same 10R140 transmission. Despite identical symptoms and the same transmission design, my VIN [XXX] ) was excluded from the recall. NHTSA’s VIN decoder also returned an “ambiguous model year” notice, suggesting this vehicle may have been built during the transition period where Ford continued using the same defective 10R140 components. Symptoms experienced prior to failure included harsh shifting, delayed engagement, gear slipping, and eventual loss of drive. A transmission shop stated they “won’t touch these tr

My truck currently has 92,305 miles and are all highway miles. This truck is not used for towing outside of the weight rating. The issue is that there was a vibration when I reached speeds of 65mph and higher. The dealer states that the rear end has excessive back lash, excessive wear in the ring and pinion gears and metal shavings in the rear differential fluid. Ford's rear differential service recommendation is 100,000 miles which I have not reached. I'm now required to pay over $3200 in repairs for the carrier bearings, hub bearings, pinion bearings, seals and rings plus the transmission fluid. Based on my driving habits, I do not think this issue is something that I caused, I believe it to be a Ford issue which they deny. I have read many blogs online where other owners have thi

Both Woodruff keys have fallen out of the windshield wiper arms where they attach to the wiper linkage. Without the Woodruff keys in place during operation, the windshield wipers easily detach from the wiper linkage. This causes an immediate loss of visibility and dramatically increases the likelihood of an accident or possibly a fatality involving both the driver & any passengers in the vehicle, and also endangers surrounding vehicles as well. Ford has known about the issue since early 2022 and a recall notice was sent out in early 2022 as well. Now that 2023 is upon us, Ford has done nothing to repair the vehicles as part of this recall. How many deaths does it take for the NHSTA to enforce manufacturer recall repairs within acceptable timelines ?
