2021 Jeep Renegade owner complaints

Sunroof spontaneously shattered while driving. No apparent cause (e.g. no reason to suspect a rock or other debris hitting the glass)

I drive the 2021 Jeep Renegade SUV and out of the blue my touchscreen just went out. The radio still works but the screen stopped working for no reason. This is huge outage endangers the public when backing up because I can't see anything on the screen when reversing. That's where the backup camera shows people or objects that might be behind my vehicle. I can't control features like the AC, Heat, GPS and other features associated with the touchscreen. This is dangerous outage that should be recalled and fixed by the manufacturer.

The radios in these jeep not fair mine start glitching then went out last year can’t afford to fix it there are a lot complaints about radio screens not fair then ur warranty expired cost thousands to fix can’t use nothing camera heated seats nothing this is a problem need to be recalled immediately very unsatisfied with Jeep horrible truck just not fair

I drive a 2021 Jeep Renegade. The android screen that controls all the app AND the backup camera keeps going out. I see replacements on Amazon for around 150-200$ but of course I do not know how to install such things. All the dealers I contact want up to $2,000.00!!! to repair it AND want a $250.00 up front diagnostic fee. Simply robbery if you ask me. This feature on this vehicle is very important to the safety of the car. I have been on Jeep's Forum and see Many, many others are having the same issue. This should be a recall issue and Jeep should fit the bill.

took my car in for oil change and dealership said there was an oil leak somewhere. scheduled that for service. than during the last week i got a airbag disabled/service , disabled park/service warning lights pop up on my dash. auto/start/stop was disabled, check engine light came on for 10 seconds. dealership has scheduled service to look into these

The UConnect screen has not worked properly on the vehicle since September 2023. Initially the screen would be black or have lines through it when the temperature outside the vehicle was above 80 degrees and during daytime hours. Now the screen is black at all times. The vehicle is available for inspection upon request. The screen is the only way to control numerous functions including the radio, climate control, backup camera, speaker settings throughout the vehicle, and basic vehicle settings such as time, etc. The problem has been reproduced and confirmed by the dealer as well as numerous other individuals who own the same vehicle make and model. Jeep states that the issue is not covered under the warranty, although the inability to use the features listed above poses a safety issue

Service air bag light has been on about 2 weeks. Tried to unlock car with key fob today. 8/6/2024. Wouldn't work so I replaced the fob battery. Nothing will work on car now. Won't start, can't manually unlock back doors.Couldn't get it in neutral to get on flatbed tow truck. Dealership said it'll be at least 2days before they can look at it. Said there's a recall but no remedy/ parts to be able to fix. Now I have no transportation. And they have no loner car to give me. Worked fine yesterday . Been parked in my driveway.

When traveling with the cruise control on, on the expressway, the speeddometer started to flicker on and off then totally went off. It lasted a couple of seconds and when it came back on my speed was at 55 mph. I was traveling at 75 when it started. This happens alot. Also the radio will sometimes blast its volume, change stations on its own or won't shut off. Last week my rear window went down and wouldn't go back up. These things happen occasionally but after shutting off the car and waiting it seems to clear for awhile. The contact owned a 2021 Jeep Renegade. The contact stated that while driving on the highway at 25 MPH when another vehicle crashed into the rear at an unknown high rate of speed. The passenger side bumper edge was damaged as well as the rear passenger side door. The contact vehicle was propelled 6 meters forward as a result of the crash. The air bags did not deploy. I have an active recall on my 2021 Jeep Renegade. I have made numerous attempts to get this vehicle in since recall was made public. Every excuse under the sun from dealerships in the St. Louis area. From we don't do recall work on weekends, to we are only allowed to order so many parts, we have to put you on a waiting list. Or I am out of a car for hours possibly days? I called the corporate number to Stellantis and they actually hung up on me. I work lots of hours, I as a paying customer should be catered to. He tried to explain that the car just steers or drives on its own. Very bad weather, I didn't risk driving it. I had the opportunity to drive it and the steering wheel becomes self operating, the brakes respond and during driving the vehicle literally stops responding to manual driving. We experienced an electrical failure while driving the Jeep Renegade. We had no power or brakes and multiple warning lights were flashing on the dashboard. Fortunately, we were able to pull into a business parking lot and stopped by running into a snow berm. We could not stop the engine and tried many times to turn the engine off during the 3 hours we waited for a tow truck. We were finally able to turn off the engine and drove it to the local Ford dealership with the tow truck following us.
