I got the Edge in 02/18/23 purchased brand. I noticed that the drivers seat is loose. I actual took into the dealer where it was purchased and I was told it would take 3 months to look at it. Needless to say I didn't leave the vehicle. I also notice that body trim was coming off and I filed a claim with Ford but I was told a dealer would have to send pictures and they would decide if they would cover it under warranty. The lane keep assist or Ford Co-pliot will over compensate and if not careful will cause a crash.

The day after purchasing my new 2022 Ford Edge, I was driving from the grocery store when I noticed a clacking sound. I stopped the car and looked around and under the car. It appeared that a metal band that held up a tank was dragging on the ground. I drove half a mile to my home and called my car dealer. He instructed me to drive the car to the Ford service department, about 5 miles away. I am presently waiting to receive a report from the service department.I am concerned that this is an example of a quality control failure and that it was an unreasonable safety risk to drag a gas tank full of fuel on the road.
I was driving and heard a loud popping sound and there was glass everywhere and my part of my sunroof was blown out. I think it was what they can an exploding sunroof.

Vehicle starting giving blocked front sensor errors disabling adaptive cruise control and forward collision warning and emergency braking systems. Car was cleaned and all sensors were clear but issue continued. The backup camera isn't working properly; it's very dim and glitchy. This was a known and recalled issue for 2021 - 2022 Ford Edges, but because of my VIN number, they won't fix it without charging me. If I'm having the same issue as the other recalled ones, why won't you service mine?
Panoramic sunroof exploded while driving on the highway. No overpass or rock just exploded while driving.
A month ago I rear ended somebody. I take full responsibility for this. However the crash alert did not go off. Yesterday I was driving down the road in the dark at about 6:00 AM, by myself, nobody else around and the crash alert went off for about two minutes saying that I was about ready to get into a wreck. Ford did look at it two weeks ago, they had one of their techs walk around it make sure that the crash alert would go off and apparently it did.
The faulty back door lift and/or sensor resulted in the back door closing without activating the close button and it hit me in the head and shoulders several times while I put groceries in and/or removing them from the back area. I was unable to activate the foot sensor to open or close the back door when I purposely tried to open the back door using the foot sensor. After bringing the vehicle to the dealer for an oil change and informing them that this occurred 3 months after purchase, they informed me they did not have time to look at it and I had to make a different appointment. Also they stated they did not have any other concerns or complaints involving the back door closing without activating the close button. We live 4 hours away from the dealer and when I made the appointment to

To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to formally report an ongoing and concerning issue with my 2022 Ford Edge. My vehicle has begun hesitating when pressing the accelerator and jerking between 20 mph and 40 mph. Some days the issue is worse than others, but it has progressively made the vehicle feel unreliable and unsafe to drive. At times, it feels as though the vehicle may break down while in motion. After researching this issue, I have found that many other Ford Edge owners are experiencing the same symptoms, with the torque converter frequently identified as the cause. This appears to be a widespread and recurring problem rather than an isolated incident. Additionally, the vehicle will coast between approximately 2,000 and 5,000$. This behavior is not normal and raises serious conc
The vehicle hesitates, bucks, and surges when accelerating from low speed 0-25 mph up to around 50mph making it difficult and hazardous merging into traffic and other driving situations. The hesitation, bucking, and surging is getting progressively worse and occurs at higher speeds now.
Torque converter coming apart inside housing. Metal making its way into the transmission at about 87,000 miles. Dealership inspection was concluded and transmission replacement was recommended. No lights or messages due to problem. This issue results in shuddering and poor shifting along with potential transmission failure while driving, making it extremely unsafe.

Stuttering between 10-35mph no warning lights went to dealer to get and fuel injection flushed but was told i couldnt do so bc i needed to have transmission looked at and then was advised that i would have to leave it at the dealership for 2weeks with no loaner before anyone could look at it which meant that i had to pay for a rental while waiting just to see if that was the issue the. To be told it will be about 8000 to replace the transmission

cruise control 1 complaint shown
I'm getting warning lights on the dash that indicated that ABS, traction control, cruise control and collision mitigation are inoperable. The dealership service dept. had the vehicle for over 2 weeks trying to diagnose the problem in conjunction with Ford engineers. they finally determined the the issue was a bad ABS module. They then informed me that the needed parts were not available and it might take 2weeks, 2months or longer to get. This condition has existed since the day the car was delivered. As of now, the car has about 600 miles on it. We're reluctant to drive the car because we feel the vehicle is unsafe, particularly in winter road conditions. We are at a loss as to how to proceed and are hoping you cab help us resolve this problem. Thank you, [XXX] INFORMATION Redac
