The mount spring must be replaced anytime the mirror is removed from the windshield. The mount spring for the rearview mirror is a one-time use item. Upon installation, a new mount spring must be torqued to the specification noted in Service Information.

An investigation of the complaint has identified a software compatibility issue between the window switch and window regulator. We are currently working on a fix, but there is currently no recommended repair. Until a repair is made available, advise the customer to close the window using manual operation by lightly pulling up on the switch until the desired position is reached. Also, they should avoid pulling up firmly on the switch to prevent activating automatic operation and the Auto-Up feature.
