Fuel Filler Cap Tether Too Long Customers may experience a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illumination. Upon further investigation the technician may find that one or more of the following Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) have been set: ?P04EC - EVAP System Large Leak Detected - Fuel Tank Side. ? P04EE - EVAP System Very Small Leak Detected - Fuel Tank Side. Customers may also comment the following: ? There is a "Check Gas Cap" message in the Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC). NOTE: The above condition is caused from an air leak through the fuel filler cap and fuel filler neck seal, because the fuel filler cap tether is caught between both.
