Repeat issues with the transmission, ongoing issue for about two months. Initially experienced the vehicle not shifting in drive or reverse, which was resolved in drive. The issue persists when in reverse, where I will put it in gear but it will rev without moving, as if the vehicle is in neutral . The dealership has replaced the valve body three times and is now awaiting other parts to attempt to resolve the issue.
When I shift my vehicle into park and hit the button to shut it off, a "shift to park" message appears on the DIC screen. I then am required to start my vehicle again, shift into gear, and then put it back into park and attempt to shut the vehicle off again. It has taken me up to 15 minutes to be able to get it to recognize that my vehicle is in park and for the message to not pop up. If I get out of the car while the message is still on the DIC screen, I cannot lock my vehicle and it drains the battery. Exhaust fell off under normal operating conditions. Dealership (Dekalb Sycamore Chevrolet- Sycamore Illinois) stated this has been a common issue with this year group of Chevrolet Trailblazer SUVs. Dealership stated the bolts/exhaust pipe junction between the catalytic converter and pipe that goes to the muffler rusts through and the entire exhaust system from the cat back falls out of the undercarriage of the vehicle, which is what happened here.
I purchased a 2023 trailblazer in February. And had noticed that the doors hold water in the front of the doors. After a rain or car washing the doors will drain when opened. But after a rain or washing and you leave the doors closed even a couple days later then open the doors water will drain out of each front hole on each door. I took it back to the dealership and the washed it and said that the doors drain while they are open. So I contacted Chevrolet main office and they asked me to take it back to the dealership. So I did while I was walking to the door a salesman came out and I asked him to open the doors on a 2023 trailblazer setting in front of the store. The brakes have been making a loud squeeling when I slow down. This has occurred since I bought the vehicle. The dealership has reviewed it multiple times and state they do not know what is causing it or how to fix it. The last time the tech stated there is nothing they can do. Now the brakes aren't performing as well as they did and it is concerning.
I have a 2023 trailblazer rs bought brand new. Currently has 12776 miles on it and for atleast the last 5000 miles I've noticed the breaks squeeling. Esp when I'm going slow speeds. I first thought maybe it was the weather or something. Moisture..whatever because this car is so new I just brushed it off. But it has progressively gotten worse and louder. Which is super frustrating when I'm picking my kids up in the pick up line and my car sounds 15+ years old when I'm rolling through and have to keep breaking. Squeeling in mine and everyone else's ear. I want this looked into a fixed. I had 2 kias before this that the engines blew from recalls they didn't wanna fix until it was to late. I'm a single mom who pays way to much to have a nice reliable car for there to be having issues already.
Brakes have been squeaking since about 2,000 miles at lower speeds (parking, drive-thru, stop-and-go street traffic, etc.). Took my car into the dealership at around 7,000 miles. Dealer acknowledged the issue and says that it's due to the material that the brakes are made of. They also stated that Chevy is aware, but isn't doing anything to correct the issue. The dealership did nothing to help me. Now I'm at around 9,000 miles and the squeaking is happening at all speeds whenever I'm braking. It also sounds like there's metal grinding along with the constant squeaking.

1-Cracked Coil caused breakdown and gas flooded engine on a road trip 109mi from home, stranded, no accommodations for replacement vehicle during service-May 12-19, 2023 2-Faulty Purge Solenoid Valve-December 4, 2023, serviced and repaired December 7, 2023 3-Engine light same code for evap leak that was repaired, waiting on contact for repair December 9,2023. The first issue caused major safety concerns for myself and my partner, stranded on the side of the highway over 100 miles from home. No police or insurance reports. This will be the 3rd time the vehicle will be serviced for engine repair in the 7 months that it's been driven.

1/ while at the stop site, the car suddenly stopped and went black. Stereo turn off and screen went black. 2/ sometime I can’t unlock the car from inside. The lock works but not the unlock button. While backing or stopping there is a high noise that seems like I have a bad brake , took it to the dealership and they said the brake is good but they can’t figure out where the noise coming from. I took the car to the dealership 3 times in 1 month since the problem started and they still can not fix it.

Every time I started the car it would not connect to iphone by any means. ignition button wouldn’t turn off, I had to push numerous times to turn off. I was in a collision. Traveling a four lane highway during daylight ours with no in-climate weather. The car in front of a line of approximately 4 cars missed their exit and slammed on his breaks to make a right turn from the driving lane. The line of cars in front of me stopped and/or left the roadway to avoid a collision. I was unable to stop in time and had nowhere to go and I rear-ended the car in front of me, which was fully stopped in the lane. According to my dash camera my speed on Impact was approximately 45 mph. No front end collision warning alarms went off. No automatic breaking occurred. No airbag deployed. None of the vehicle safety and anti collision measures performed as I had expected. $10,000 worth of damage to my car alone.

Steering warning light comes on while driving and steering locks up. Dealer inspected the vehicle and states the steering unit did pull a code, however is not serviceable and will need replaced. I do not feel safe driving the vehicle as the steering locks up and cause a serious accident. The dealer advised it may take several weeks for the parts to arrive. I am reading other reports of Trailblazer owners facing the same service issue. I am requesting a rental car from GM and/or the dealer until my car is fixed, however they told me I have to pay out of pocket myself. I am disgusted this brand new car is facing such a serious safety issue. This needs investigated ASAP before someone is killed on the highway.
