Unknown. Outstanding recall on brakes that has no update on resolution. My VIN wasn't part of the initial February 2024 recall, but I purchased my vehicle in March 2024. There was no disclosure about the initial recall when I was purchasing the vehicle. It's only been since October that I was notified that my VIN is now part of this brake recall. Online searches and an email with my dealership have been no help in any updates to resolving this issue.

Dealer Braman BMW West Palm Beach Florida has voice that new lot vehicles of the same kind will have priority over the vehicles on the road. They will not check vehicle unless the system fails; this is in my opinion unacceptable and I have genuine and justifiable fear and I will not have my family drive this vehicle unless someone tells me it is safe otherwise. Breaks are noisy when stopping; furthermore, when vehicle auto-turns-on the vehicles pushes forward even when breaks are applied in a stop light or stop sign pushing you into traffic or the vehicle in front of you.

I brought my vehicle to my dealer in March to have my brake system repaired as there was a known recall on this vehicle and was told there is no remedy available but it was safe to drive. The power brake booster in my 2024 BMW X7 failed on October 17, 2024 while I was driving downhill with a child in the car around a blind turn. I was not able to stop for several hundred feet and would have potentially killed a pedestrian, myself or my child who was in the car with me if this happened on a road where there was more traffic. I relayed this to the BMW executive team and was told that they will not buy my vehicle back because they will fix the part now that it failed. They said that they did not have enough parts to issue to all the affected vehicles so unless the part fails they are not d

We purchased our 2024 BMW X7 in August 2023. We have experienced brake failure twice so far. The first time happened in June 2024. The brake failed in front of the red traffic light. We were lucky that there was no car crossing the road. Otherwise, we would have ended up with an accident. BMW replaced the brake system. But, the post online said that the proposed brake repair does not work. So, I reached out to BMW to let them know to buy back my vehicle as it says online that the proposed brake repair doesn't work, and I can't put my family and kids in the vehicle with potential serious safety issues. But, BMW representative lied to me that the brake issue of my vehicle is permanently fixed, forcing me to drive the vehicle and putting my family in danger. In September 2024 at 3 month
This BMW X7 car has had a recall, with no resolution on it since Feb of 2024. I purchased my car in July 2024 and the dealer never once mentioned this to me. This is a serious issue and I do not think this was good business. It's also terrifying to think the brakes on such a heavy and fast vehicle can lock up. This is unacceptable. The cars should be taken back by dealers immediately and owners offered new vehicles which are not part of the recall that are safe.

I am writing to report a distressing incident involving my BMW X7's parking assistance system, which occurred on November 1, 2023. I believe this incident raises significant safety and consumer protection concerns and am seeking your assistance in addressing this issue with BMW of North America. On the mentioned date, while using the parking assistance feature to exit my garage, the system collided with another vehicle sliently without any prior warning while I was paying full attention to the parking view which shows the rear reality view as well as surround view to prepare to stop the parking assistant anytime. To make matters worse, it failed to stop automatically and appeared to accelerate, causing considerable damage to my BMW X7's front bumper and the rear bumper of the other vehicl

There was a red symbol displayed. Additionally, while driving at an unknown speed or a stop light, the brakes locked up. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer on multiple occasions, where it was diagnosed and the mechanic reset the instrument panel and brakes. The vehicle was repaired, but the failure persisted. While driving to the same local dealer, the vehicle shut down, and the mechanics had to push the vehicle into the service department. BMW replaced the brake system twice to fix the brake failure issues we had on our 2024 BMW X7. When we brought our vehicle in for the 1st brake system replacement in June 2024 at 12,000 miles, the dealership inspected tire tread depth and all tires are in green. When we brought our vehicle in for the 2nd brake system replacement in September 2024 at 15,000 miles, both rear tires tread depth became red, indicating that the rear tires need to be replaced immediately. The rear tires had excessive wear in 3 month or 3,000 miles. We did not let anyone else driving the vehicle. So, the excessive rear tire wear was not caused by driving habits, but by the bad/defect brake system BMW replaced. This bad brake system will affect use and maintenance cost of the vehicle in the future. BMW needs t

Purchased this 2024 BMW X7M60I in March 23, since day 1 of ownership and with 100 miles on the dash the car has had massive breaking, electrical, and engine issues. Almost every safty light on the dash comes on or is always on. Car was taken to Centry West BMW over many times and many months/years. Previous to this new recall dated Feb 24 they replaced the IBC and DSC and the whole brake booster and brake system. This was completed on Oct 5th of 23. I was told that this would fix all the problems with the car. Since then the car is still having the same issues regarding the brakes, engine, and electrical. Previous to this new recall coming out BMW refused to acknowledge that this car is unsafe and unfit to drive. They assured me that it was fixed. Car was taken back in to dealership on Jun
