The brake pedal did not provide normal stopping capability, and the vehicle did not slow or stop as expected when the brakes were applied. Was driving car and attempted to roll my window door and the car would not allow it. Then I started hearing clicking noises which was the sound of locking and unlocking door. Which I heard in succession of at 9 times. Later on the return drive on the highway the car let me consistently lock and unlock when in drive. I got home, turn the car off and radio did not turn of even after opening driver’s door
Three times in the last week while driving, my electronic dashboard went completely black and the music playing stopped. Within 10 seconds it came back up but my phone was disconnected and the system had to be reprogrammed. It was frightening as I was not sure what was happening and had no way of seeing whether my car was in drive and drivable. There was a safety recall last year for this issue. My VIN was not included.

Approximately two months into my lease, I began experiencing electrical problems with the vehicle. The most concerning issue is the car's tendency to shut down unexpectedly while driving, which has escalated over time. Each incident has resulted in significant concern for my safety and that of my passengers, as well as for other drivers on the road. On Friday, September 13, 2024, without warning, the instrument panel that shows the speed of the car (and left and right turn signals), turned off and went black (blank), while I was driving my brand new Buick, Envista. It was less than three months old at the time. The car’s mileage was at about 1,000 miles. I did not know what speed my car was going, other than by watching cars around me. I did not know if the car’s turn signals were working. I did not know if the car’s brake lights were working. The contact owns a 2024 Buick Envista. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the instrument panel displayed a blank screen; however, two seconds later, the instrument panel operated as intended. The check engine warning light was illuminated. The failure occurred several times. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed, and determined that the body control module needed to be replaced. The contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V744000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM); however, the VIN was not included in the recall. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 36,109.

Sunroof glass shattered on I-5 south approx 1215pm just before the Nisqually exit. We looked for cause of the incident but could not find debris/rocks that could've been the cause. Also, there wasn't much glass inside the car, the remnants puckered upwards. The glass shatter seemed to come out of the blue; weather was grey but no rain or sprinkles at the time. We pulled over at the next exit which was Nisqually to look at the damage and to tape up the car.
The horn doesn't work or when you lock the vehicle using the key fob the horn doesn't blow then either notifying you that the vehicle is secured and locked. My vehicle is less than a year old with this defect and this poses as a safety hazard when driving to alert other drivers or prevent an accident.
Our 2024 Buick Envista’s air conditioner does not work. The car has less than 2500 miles on it. It is in the shop for the second time. If you google search ‘Buick Envista Air Conditioner’ you’ll find multiple forums where a number of 2024 Envista owners are having the exact same issue and like me experiencing no resolve with the dealerships. The DASHBOARD keeps changing while driving, and the dealer states they have fixed it. I have had 2 dashboards replaced since I purchased the car (1 year) and this unsafe while driving my GPS keeps changing while driving. This is VERY UNSAFE! The SUNROOF WILL NOT CLOSE, until the next day. It rains inside my car because it will not close, so I can not use my sunroof PERIOD. This is one of the reasons I purchased the car. On December 3rd I contacted roberts-Robertson Chevrolet in Excelsior springs where I purchased my brand new 2024 buick envista. I told them my engine light is on, we scheduled service for 4 days later, the engine light shut off, i contacted them on the 13th telling them it is back on and now i am concerned if it is safe, while speaking to the representative will not share her name, until I am contacted, the service representative, I asked her yestersay at 1 pm cst over the phone if I was safe to be driving my kids to places with the engine light back on or should we be worried. I filed and submitted my paragraph yesterday and have not heard a word. My son was in the back seat when it happened and he is extremely traumatized in getting back into a vehicle. My car was purchased in 2023 and it is a 2024 and is non drivable due to the engine explosion while driving in 14 degree weather on a two lane high way with my 6 and 7 year old in the back seat. I purchased my 2024 Buick Envista in 3/24 and not too long after the windshield had a spontaneous crack that started in the center of the glass, and resembled a backward letter 'L". Driving around, I noticed more Envistas on the road, seeing a total of 12, 7 of the 12 had cracked windshields, furthering my suspicion that this is a manufacturer defect. I took note that each vehicle had different license plates as well so it's not as if I was noticing the same vehicles over time. During my time of researching this info and being told parts were not available for my windshield at the time since it was a newer model, on my way to work, a truck in front of me, in another lane, had a load of uncovered sand that flew off due to the wind of course, and hit my windshield in a spray like mist. The rear suspension is not able to handle passengers in the back seat. Passengers in the back seat experience pain in the lower back on even small bumps in the road. It seems as though the rear springs are inadequate to keep the shocks from bottoming out and causing pain to the passengers. On a 5-hour drive, my adult son experienced so much pain from the ride that he took two days off work to recover. I took the vehicle for service and asked them to look at it. The service writer at the dealer told me it is a known problem that they cannot fix without a recall on the rear springs.

Needed to jack up the car to change the tire. There is a Jack included with the car. Upon using it in the correct spot in accordance with the owners manual, the Jack began to significantly bend while trying to raise the car to change the tire! It looked so unsafe that we abandoned the tire change. If I were on the side of the road, trying to use this, it could be deadly.

I picked up my new lease on 9/23/24. I don't understand why the rear taillights at the hatch level don't also work as turn indicators/brake lights. I learned that there is a set of lights on the lower half of the rear end, closer to the fascia. Once I was following another Buick Envista and I was amazed at how low those lights are. On another occasion when I was using the adaptive cruise control, I almost caused an accident because the driver behind me apparently did not see any brake lights in their "usual" position.

While sitting at a stoplight, my vehicle began chiming along with the following symbols illuminated on the dash: Brake System Warning Light, Antilock Brake System (ABS), Malfunction Indicator Lamp, Electronic Stability Control (ESC). I also received the following warning messages: "Brake System Failure Max Speed 62 mph," "Service Stabilitrak," & "Steering Assist Reduced." When the stoplight turned green, I accelerated at a low speed to get through the intersection so I could safely pull over. When I hit the brakes, I had to jam the brake pedal as far as it would go repeatedly to get the vehicle to stop rolling and eventually stop.
