Upon engine start up at the home of my S/O, [XX], the warning "Service Automatic Throttle Control" appeared on the dashboard. Placing the vehicle into gear first in reverse, then in drive resulted in sudden acceleration and erratic lurching. I had no brakes whatsoever. ABS shuts off while driving for no apparent reason. When this happens cruise control shuts dow also. Traded a 2022 Compass in with same issue and problem was never solved.
Defective brake pads and rotors, brake pads are digging into the rotors, more so when turning. vehicles has 15k miles, photos attached, brake pads are not worn down as seen in photos. Dealer refuses to repair claiming corrosion. Alot of reports of unusual brake pads and rotors wearing down way too fast for milage usage which points to defective parts.
