The car would not start, and displaying multiple rotating warnings. The car could not be shifted to neutral. The problem is going away after several hours by itself. Only check engine light remaining after car is able to start. The problem happened three times, most recent on October 20th. The last two problems were potentially addressed by updating software. Obviously the problem is still not fixed.

On Thursday September 12, 2024, I took my vehicle into the Mercedes Benz of Novi dealership located at 39500 Grand River Avenue in Novi, Michigan to have them diagnose and repair the passenger seat due to the seat bouncing, vibrating and rattling while driving the vehicle. Technicians from dealership took the car out and they noted the passenger seat bounced and vibrated as they were driving the vehicle out for the test drive. Technicians from the dealer stated "there cannot be anything done for the vehicle and to call the manufacturer's Customer Care number." While standing in at the service desk at the dealership, I called the Customer Care number (1-800-367-6372) and documented this issue, and the dealer's response, under Case #[XXX]. The Customer Care representative heard the tec
The infotainment and vehicle information system randomly goes black, resets itself while driving. There are no error messages or warnings. The system reboots and the screens come back after about 10-20 seconds. There was a recall issued for this back in May of 2026 and I had Mercedes Benz of Asheville, NC perform the required system update on June 17, 2026. Obviously the update did not correct the problem.
Electrical System/Climate Control/Energy Management DESCRIPTION OF PROBLEM: On XXX, I exited my 2024 Mercedes-Benz EQB 250+ at a parking lot in [XXX] to briefly enter a business. I left the vehicle running in Park and I took the key fob with me and left the climate control (AC) active. Three occupants remained inside the car: my wife, son, and dog. Without any warning, alert, or notification to the remaining occupants, the car automatically shut down its drivetrain and climate control system after approximately 5 to 10 minutes of idle time. The interior temperature in TX in summer conditions can reach dangerous levels within minutes of AC loss, creating a life-threatening situation for car occupants. The car provides no prominent warning to the driver at the time of exit that this automat
My auto assist emergency braking function has triggered 3 times over the last few months with no other cars or hazzards near me. There was not warning. Each time it caused sudden unexpected severe jerking. More importantly, had there been a car behind me, it would have run into me and caused an collision. I reported this to the dealer who was unable to replicate the problem so it returned my car without a solution. I have notified MBUSA.
April 3, 2025. approx 2:30pm Glass panoramic sunroof spontaneously exploded going down hwy 431in Huntsville Al. approx speed was 50-55mph. Vehicle had been parked in the parking deck at work since 6am. Exterior Temp was approximately 84 Degrees F. Sunroof was closed. Sounded like a gunshot and the glass was sucked out. Interior sunshield was closed and prevented glass from entering vehicle.
My vehicle is not included in the current high voltage battery recall under NHTSA recall 26V073, as it has a manufacture date of 08/2024 per door jamb sticker, however, page 5 of the NHTSA report explicitly states “A change in the production procedure of our supplier ensures that this issue can no longer occur on vehicles produced from July 31, 2024 onwards.” This leaves car production between May and July 31 (and likely beyond!) unaccounted for in the recall. My car was built in August 2024, likely with a battery manufactured prior to July 31, 2024 with the defect. I believe my car should be included in the recall/affected vehicles given its production date and the date of production remedy. On [XXX] at [XXX], while I was slowly moving my car into a parking spot, the vehicle suddenly stopped for a brief moment and then, within a second, unexpectedly accelerated forward without any input from me. The car jumped onto the pathway and collided with the glass door of the property located at [XXX] ". I attempted to control the car using the brakes immediately, but the vehicle was not responding and remained out of control. There were no alert sounds or warnings before or during the incident. The vehicle finally stopped only after hitting the glass door. I strongly believe this was caused by a software or system bug, as the sudden acceleration occurred without my intervention. Please investigate this issue thoroughly, as it raises serious safety concerns. INFORMATION REDACTED P
Main instrument cluster and infotainment system locked up during driving after dark, the screens froze and then went black. All exterior lights went out during driving. No speedometer or other warning lights are working. It is a serious safety issue! Turning the car off, waiting 10 minutes, and starting it again did not fix the issue no matter what i did trying to recover the system. The screens either turn on and stay frozen or they stay dark. The engine starts but all instruments are not working, and all UI controls are unresponsive. It appears that very many other drivers reporting similar safety issues with 2024 Mercedes E350 on the [XXX] user forum and the manufacturer (Mercedes) is not recalling and/or fixing this serious and known issues but keeps selling defective and dangerous ca
Learning that my vehicle is subject to a battery-related recall has seriously undermined my trust. Battery defects in electric vehicles can present risks that include thermal events, loss of vehicle functionality, and other potentially dangerous situations. My vehicle has had warning signs, I received emails about the risks my vehicle can present directly from Mercedes. I have had my vehicle in the service department two times in two months for this same issue. My vehicle is overheating while charging.
I am submitting this complaint regarding a serious safety issue involving my vehicle. For an extended period of time, this vehicle has experienced recurring starting failures. On multiple occasions, the vehicle would not start, requiring service visits to the dealership. Despite repeated repair attempts, the dealership was unable to identify the root cause of the problem and typically performed only software updates. I was repeatedly informed that no specific defect could be found.Recently, the issue escalated into a much more dangerous event. While driving, the engine suddenly shut down without warning. The loss of engine power occurred during normal vehicle operation and created a significant safety hazard. This unexpected engine shutdown could have resulted in a collision, serious injur
The contact owns a 2024 Mercedes Benz E. The contact stated that while the vehicle was parked, and started, the instrument panel and infotainment screen became blank. No warning indicators or audible assistance and other vehicle assistance were not able to display due to the failure. The dealer was contacted; however, the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 21,000.

During normal driving, Pirelli tires have bubbles, resulting in air leakage. Tires will eventually run flat. Pirelli tires installed on new vehicle cannot support the weight of the vehicle.
The vehicle is equipped with Pirelli 21 inch tires. All four tires have lost air and had bubbles on the sidewall. The first tire went flat after hitting a 2 inch pothole. It was replaced. However, tires 2, 3 & 4 all had bubbles on the sidewalls. The tires placed on the vehicle are deficient. the vehicle weight exceeds the capacity of the Pirelli tires. In the second defect tire situation last week, it almost resulted in a collision due to sudden loss of tire pressure on [XXX] in Indianpolis, IN. I will attach a copy of the repair bills for all four tires. The vehicle must change the 21 inch rims. Also, our second Mercedes had a flat tire today. Five (5) flat tires in 40 days of ownership. The lane-keeping assist function (In-Lane control, part of the driver-assistance suite) does not turn off when commanded. The driver selects the control to disengage, and the system remains active and continues to apply steering input. This is a recurring condition and it is getting more frequent. A driver-assistance steering function that cannot be switched off removes driver authority over the steering at the moment the driver is trying to take control, which is a safety risk in normal driving and especially during evasive maneuvers, lane changes, and construction or debris avoidance. The condition was reported to the selling dealer in writing on June 17, 2026 as part of a recurring driver-assistance concern. During the subsequent B service visit the dealer inspected the radar sensors
The contact owns a 2024 Mercedes-Benz E450. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, the "Active Emergency Assistance Imperative" message was displayed. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who determined that a software update was required. The vehicle was repaired, but the failure reoccurred. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer, who then diagnosed a failure with the power steering control module (PSCM). The vehicle was repaired, but the failure reoccurred. The vehicle was then taken back to the dealer, who replaced the steering wheel. The vehicle was repaired, but the failure reoccurred. The manufacturer was notified of the failure but provided no assistance. The failure mileage was 50.

The master central screen as well as the passenger screen that contains all features for radio, navigation, control of reading road signs, climate control and the like go BLACK randomly during the four weeks I have owned the 2024 E Class Mercedes. It will reboot after 2-5 minutes with no lost data. Dealer in Cherry Hill, NJ did major software update not completed at time of purchase. But incident happened after two weeks. Others with this make, year and model have same situations with dealerships not knowing anything. Supposedly, Mercedes knows but a solution may be three months or more. This is a safety issue as if happens at night, you lose all connections even to the cell phone and no speed sign indicator on. You cannot see anything but the driver screen with just the speed you are

I’ve been hearing a creaking noise in the rear when coming to a stop. Independent mechanic inspected it and said the subframe was severely rusted and that I probably should not drive long distances until it is fixed. They researched and said others have had similar issue. Mercedes apparently is aware and offers an “extended warranty.” I have an appointment in two weeks (!) to have it looked at by a Mercedes mechanic. They will pay for the repair/replacement IF warranted. Should be a recall, IMO. Can’t imagine that the part in question, which according to my mechanic, “essentially holds the back of the car together” wouldn’t be an immediate recall. Car has 120k miles on it.

On a recent drive, my 2024 Mercedes-Benz E350 VIN: [XXX] suffered a catastrophic safety hazard involving a complete loss of drive power and sudden engine shutdown while operating at highway speeds. I had to navigate across active highway lanes with no engine propulsion to reach safety. Simultaneously, the vehicle experienced a widespread failure of its master interior electrical grid. The driver's power seat became permanently frozen in a fully reclined position while driving, creating an immediate driver-ergonomic safety hazard. Multiple interior USB charging ports and the passenger-side power seat also lost power entirely. This combination of engine stalling and localized interior electronic failure strongly aligns with NHTSA Recall 24V-115, which involves faulty 80-Amp fuses in the m

My vehicle is a 2024 Mercedes-Benz EQB 300. Despite the nationwide recall (NHTSA 26V073000) for high-voltage battery fire risk, the manufacturer is providing conflicting and dangerous safety information. I was verbally instructed by dealership representatives to park my vehicle outdoors and limit charging to 80% to avoid a fire hazard. However, when I requested written confirmation of these safety restrictions from MBUSA Corporate Retention (Case Manager: [XXX] ), my request was ignored The manufacturer refuses to put in writing that my vehicle is safe to park in my attached garage or charge to 100%, effectively leaving me with a fire hazard in my home while refusing to acknowledge the defect for my specific VIN. This is a critical failure of the recall management process. INFORMATION RE
