I've had plenty of Buick in the bay over the years, and the steering complaints on these don't surprise me. 940 on the NHTSA record across 51 model-year entries (2005–2024) is not a fluke. The 2010 Buick Enclave leads the list but the pattern shows up across multiple years and models. Not a one-off. 7 fire reports on the federal record — not common in this category but documented and worth weight. Average shop fix runs about $700 — not catastrophic, but it adds up over time. Across the 624 complaints reporting odometer mileage, the median failure lands at about 63,941 miles. Steering does not have a graceful failure mode. Take any "unintended movement" complaints seriously and check for open recalls on the EPS module.
