I HAD PULLED INTO A PARKING SPACE AND STOPPED FULLY. THE VAN WAS STILL IN DRIVE AND SUDDENLY THE ENGINE ACCELERATED WHILE MY FOOT WAS TILL ON THE BRAKE. I GRABBED THE SHIFT LEVER AND PUT IT IN NEUTRAL AND THE ENGINE RACED AT VERY HIGH RPM UNTIL I WAS ABLE TO GRAB THE IGNITION KEY AND TURN IT OFF. I RESTARTED IT AND IT SEEMED NORMAL SO I DROVE HOME AND PARKED IT. *TR
