Front drivers side seat bracket broke while driving the seat is instable and rocks when making turns
I was pulling out of as parking lot with hot coffee in my cup holder. My mother was in the passenger seat and my 11 year old son was in the back seat. I heard a clunk and my seat jolted backward making controlling my vehicle extremely difficult almsot resulting in hitting a gas station sign and jutting out into a major roadway. The coffee spilled into my lap adding to the already severe problem. *tr
The left, driver's side front seat of my 2006 Nissan murano broke while my son was driving. The support bracket cracked completely, leaving the seat tilted downward several inches on the left side. The car is dangerous to drive in this condition because the seat is bouncing at an odd angle. I have seen many complaints online of the same problem with the Nissan murano. It is hard to believe that an NHTSA recall has not been issued.
I sat down in the drivers seat and heard a cracking sound and felt the left rear of the seat drop down 1-2 inches. The seat rocks from side to side while driving. Upon investigation I found the left rear seat bracket is broken. This is very unsafe. There are hundreds of reports on the internet of this part failing in many years of the murano vehicle and an updated stronger part is now available. I feel this type of incident should be the subject of a recall and repaired for no cost to the owner. *tr
Vehicle fuel sensor gone bad. Shows as check engine and fuel level is either empty or empty.
The left side of the driver seat frame has detached from the car floor mount as of approximately four months ago; since then, the severity of the detachment has increased and the seat moves up and down. I have been advised by a local mechanic and Nissan that welding the seat frame to the floor frame will only temporarily fix the issue. Nissan states a new frame is required ($1,200 + labor). Not having my seat correctly attached to the car presents a safety hazard in the event of an auto accident. The frame has detached based on normal wear and tear; there was no abnormal use, in fact the car only has 110,409 miles. Nissan states this is not under warranty or recall. I do not feel I should have to pay ($1,200 + labor) to remedy given the potential safety hazard (if an accident occurs
2006 Nissan murano, broken driver's seat frame. Failed while driving, turning at an intersection. Temporarily lost control of the vehicle and almost hit an oncoming car. The seat frame repair cost at the dealer is nearly $1,400. Nissan has refused to provide any financial assistance for the repair citing it not being the safety hazard and that the vehicle's warranty had expired. This is a part that should never break on a vehicle, let alone a vehicle that is only 4 years old. I am seriously concerned about the ability of the seat to maintain its structural integrity in the event of an accident. Due to the safety concern that I have with this seat and what could potentially happen in an accident, I will be selling it when I have it paid for in a few short months and will not purchase
Driver seat frame or attachment to track is broken. Has been broken for a long amount of time. First noticed after a few months of purchasing vehicle in 2008. Dealer wants @ 1000.00 to repair. Was not covered under extended warranty. Car failed safety inspection due to seat this year. Cannot afford repair at this time. *tr
The mount under the left side of the driver's seat suddenly broke and detached from the frame. It was extremely difficult to drive/operate the vehicle since the driver's seat was leaning severly to the left and moving around. If there had been an accident, the seat would have most likely become completely seperated from the car since there was only 1 bracket holding it on instead of 2.

The air duct (pipe) coming from the air filter unattached itself causing the computer to shut down the engine. This happened while car was moving causing loss of steering and brake loss. *tr
I went to drive my car in the morning and it didn't turn on it had been running fine the whole time ive had it. I purchased this vehicle in 2015 it had 103945 miles on it. It now has 118k on it and once the battery was charged we proceeded to replace it. The next day it started up got me to work , as soon as I was getting ready to leave work it was completely dead. It took over an hour to jump it and finally get it going. As soon as I got home and parked it, once again completely dead. I have been told it is the alternator by several people and have not had time to get it in to a shop as I work difficult shifts to correlate with what is available for most shops to provide. I do not want to have this issue fixed and then have it happen again the next day as I have read several complain

2006 Nissan murano won't take gas stops nozzle even when its not full***cc the vehicle was taken to the dealer. The dealer replaced the fuel tank but that did not correct the problem. *nm
I have a very hard time pumping gas into my 2006 Nissan murano s. After a gallon or two the fuel pump handle will kick off and stop pumping. I have been told this is because of the venting system. I first brought the car in for this issue in 2006. I ended up picking it up and then taking it right back because I couldn't put gas into it at the station down the road. It was again serviced for the same thing in 2008 and then again in 2009. The vehicle is currently back in the shop for the same complaint. I have to pump gas into a portable gas can and then pour it into the murano. *ln

Subframe rust through and broke, causing lost control of car. Car became dangerous and unsafe to drive, with expensive repairs due to the break. Research shows that many people with the same car, or similar years, have had same issue. Brake of subframe was while moving on highway, causing drift of car with no control of back wheels, putting myself and other cars in danger.
