In motion on hwy at 55-60 MPH coming out of a right turn. Right side tires entered a dip in the road and heard a metal bang sound. Truck began to rock from side to side, up and down violently causing loss of steering control while the whole family screams. Braking made it worse. Coasting to below 50 MPH corrected the rocking. Found the electronic sway bar hanging loose below truck. Suspension bracket for sway bar was broken at rear bolt location and bent down. Dealership states left front ball joints need replacing also and may have contributed to loss of control. Dealership said nothing is covered under previous recalls 11v350000 or 13v528000. $3400. Estimate.

I own a 2007 Dodge Ram 2500 that has 65,000 miles on it with 4 wheel drive and a 5.7l gas engine. I was traveling home on interstate 5 n/b a few miles north of lost hills ca about 2130 hrs. I set my cruise control for 78 MPH and a few minutes later hit a minor bump in the road. My vehicle began to shake violently and I braked but the wobble did not cease until I was going about 25 MPH. I pulled to the shoulder and inspected the tires, wheels, steering components and suspension components. There was nothing visibly wrong so I resumed my trip and reactivated my cruise control. A few moments later my vehicle again shook violently. I limped home at much slower speeds with no more problems. The dealer inspected my truck and I pointed out to them a tsb that covered the situation. The dealer disc

While driving down interstate 25 in albuquerque nm I hit an expansion joint in the road and the truck began to shake violently forcing all other drivers on the road around me to scatter to avoid an accident. I immediately began to slow down and the violent shaking did not stop until I reached approx 35-40mph. I was convinced that my wheel was falling off or a major suspension component had failed but after an immediate inspection there was nothing readily identified. After a very brief search of the web it appears this is a common problem called the "death wobble" and no one appears to have been able to correct it with repairs. Below are 3 of the many you tube links I found describing the incident perfectly as it happened to me. Outside the vehicle view of death wobble: http://youtu.b

I have a 2007 Dodge Ram 2500 power wagon with only 131k miles . As I was driving on the highway home from work at around 60 MPH my whole front end started to shake like crazy and I almost lost control of the truck . I had to stop and pull off the road . Looking under the truck I do not see anything that looks broken or damaged. So I went online and alot of people online had the same issue as I did . I was told they are open recalls for front end parts going bad on my truck year model . I called my local dealer the service tech was happy to help until I said recall issues on the front end on the truck then all of a sudden his data base system went down so he will have to call me back . All I need is just a answer on if there is a open recalll so that I can have it repaired . Right now I am

At speed over 50 on a interstate highway hitting an expansion joint, bumps or uneven pavement while changing a lane on 2 lane state roadway to pass car (no bumps) truck went into violent front end shaking. Created unsafe passing situation while trying to get truck under control. Truck is a diesel with 72,000 well cared for miles. When speaking with a Chrysler Ram tough ?? (my a--)truck dealer , they knew nothing about a "death wobble" . Front end replaced except for steering box with front end alignment.

Exhaust fumes entering the cab via the heater-a/c fresh air intake. Does not do this when the "recirculation" mode is used. I've had an independent shop and three different Dodge dealer shops check for the problem. The first three shops could find nothing wrong. The last shop said there was a small leak in the EGR valve assembly. I had dealership shop (lithia Dodge of roseburg,or) replace the EGR valve/cooler assembly (at a cost of $1,068.84). This did not cure or reduce the problem. My feeling is since this is an intermittent problem, it may have something to do with the smog system-most likely the diesel particulate filter operation. I do know that I'm not the only person having this year diesel truck problem. Is there a cure??? Also, the truck does not have any black smoke comi
