Brakes, and brake rotors have been replaced numerous times. Too many electrical malfunctions to mention. Today, my wife said her power steering light came on. It scares me that she has to drive my son to school in this car. I have researched this vehicle, and found numerous safety issues with other owners as well. I have contacted the different dealers for help, to no avail. Why isn't there a recall yet? *tr
Driving during snowy conditions, I began to lose control and spin out. I attempted to correct my steering, then my car fish tailed. I slid into the ditch, never used my brakes. I took out a sign with the drivers side and hit about 3-4 trees with the front end. My airbags never deployed. Thank goodness no one was injured, but the amount of damage done and how many things I hit, shocks me as to why my airbag never deployed. *tr

2007 Pontiac g6, 77,000 miles. The steering wheel began to shake a lot. Then I notice when you slightly turn the wheel left or right it knocks. I have been receiving power steering warnings on my dash. When this happens I turn off the car and restart it, the problem goes away then restarts again. I don't know why the 2007 g6 was not on the recall list. I've notice a lot of other people on g6 car websites have had the same problem. Surely this is a recall. It is definitely a safety issue. I have a appointment to get my car looked at next week. *tr

I have had this car since 2009. One of the first problems I noticed was what seemed to be electrical with the lights in the car going dim for a bit, then kicking back in. This only happens every so often. Low beam headlight on driver side keeps going out, even when putting a new light in. Passenger side window is the only window that works at all times. All three other windows are inoperable and have been for years. Automatic transmission will jerk while shifting gears. Feels like I am driving a stick shift vehicle, but this indeed a automatic. This has been going on for several years as well. Back break lights constantly stayed on. They would go off for a few seconds when you press on the breaks and release, but then would come back on right away while accelerating

In mid-july, 2015 one headlight (dim) stopped working and within a few days, the other did also. I replaced both dim headlights on july 18, 2015. Within a week, both dim headlights stopped working. I limited my driving to daytime hours as much as possible. On or about december 7, 2015, the high beam light on the driver side went out. I replaced both dim headlights on december 9, 2015 since we had a trip planned that would involve some nighttime driving. The dim light on the driver's side went out within 24 hours and the other dim light went out on monday, december 28, 2015. I have mentioned this problem to two different gm dealerships, both of which advised me to pay to have the car diagnosed. Neither of the dealerships seemed concerned that there might be a safety issue and both d

Recently purchased 2007 Pontiac g6. Have been notified by other motorists my brake lights don't work when stopping at an intersection, and then come on when accelerating away. *tr brake lights illuminated when brake pedal is not depressed, and no brake lights when brake pedal is depressed. Happens sporadically. Brake lights have illuminated when running and in park with nobody in the vehicle. I can tell when the brake lights are on during the day if I am on the highway trying to use the cruise control, if it doesn't engage the brake lights are on. At night when there is nobody behind me I can see the bright reflection in my rear view mirror if the brake lights have illuminated on there own. New brake pedal position sensor installed and calibrated at gm dealership 12-29-2010. C

As I was turning right to a stop light I was using my brakes and the car wouldn't brake that much until I pushed down harder than before. After turning right and going towards another stop light, I braked and the car stopped. It was still running, but the accelerator wasn't working and when I put the car back into park then drive, nothing happened. After I turned my car on and off a few times, I was able to drive my car into a nearby parking lot, but the steering was hard to turn. After many turn on and offs, the steering wheel wasn't tight anymore and I had someone else drive my car to my house. After a week, my parents told me start the car and let it run for 2 minutes. When I turned it on, it made like a 'gurgling' noise and when I turned it off, it was hard to turn the key and when I g

Brake lights stay on . This only happens after the car has been driven 10+ miles.at this point the cruise control disengages and the manual shift feature won't work. I took it to a Pontiac dealer (now a Buick GMC dealer) 2 times and spent $250.00 on repairs with no success. Dealer says he has no idea. This is a serious safety matter. The g6 owners club is getting more and more complaints of this every day. *kb
