Tl* the contact owns a 2008 Infiniti ex35. The contact stated that the air bag sensor illuminated, indicating that the air bags malfunctioned. The vehicle was not included in NHTSA campaign number:08v521000 (air bags, electrical system). The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer who diagnosed that the front passenger side seat needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 112,000.

The dash board airbag warning light started flashing. It stayed flashing for a few weeks, so I took it to an Infiniti dealership. The dealership told me there was some type of communication problem between the acu and ocs units, located under the passenger seat. They said they couldn't tell any more than that, and would try replacing the acu first (this cost me over $1000). They then said if the flashing light came back, the next step would cost me over $3200 (replacing the ocs, I guess). I then looked online for others with this problem, as this part is inside the car, and wasn't damaged in any way (I have the old part, looks in perfect condition), so I was suspicious that this was a manufacturer's defect. Tl* the contact owned a 2008 Infiniti ex35. While driving at approximately 15 MPH and turning left, another vehicle failed to stop at a red traffic light and crashed into the front passenger side of the contact's vehicle. The air bags did not deploy. A police report was filed. The contain sustained an injury, but did not require medical attention. The vehicle was destroyed. The passenger airbag light stays on constantly. We had the dealership do a diagnostic on it and came back that the occupant control sensor unit in the passenger seat is bad and they want 6400.00 to fix it!! Ironically, other 2007-2008 infinity ex35 models were recalled for the same issue, except mine due to my VIN! Why were 200,00+ other cars from same year and model recalled but not mine? Even if new part was used, it still has the same error and should be recalled. This is a safety issue and totally unresponsible of these auto manufacturers to not take responsibility of this!

The 2008 Infiniti ex35 was struck by a car (Honda accord) going through a red light. Initial contact on the driver side of the car - all side airbags deployed. The Infiniti then hit a brick column supporting a building with full frontal impact between the headlights. The front air bags did not deploy. The car was a complete loss - $26,000. The driver suffered a fractured vertebrae and concussion and multiple bruises. This complaint is for the front airbags that did not deploy. *tr

The occupant classification sensor does not always function properly. Even with an adult passenger in the front passenger seat, using the seat belt, the passenger air bag status light occasionally is illuminated (indicating air bag is off). This appears to occur randomly. I cannot find a pattern on what causes this to happen. We first noticed it more than 2 years ago, but didn't think much of it until now, with another recall on our qx60.

Took the car to dealer for fixing the below recall notice. Manufacturer recall numberr1501 NHTSA recall number15v-054 however, the dealership is saying something else in the steering need to be fixed before applying the fix and refusing to do the recall. I believe the part was damaged, because of the faulty steering column component.

Tl* the contact owns a 2008 Infiniti ex35. While the vehicle was stationary, the steering wheel became detached from the vehicle. The contact was able to re-attach the steering wheel to the steering column temporarily and drove the vehicle to the dealer. Nalley Infiniti of marietta, georgia (2020 cobb parkway se, 30060) stated that the vehicle could not be repaired due to the contact's failure to respond to the notification for NHTSA campaign number: 15v054000 (steering). The manufacturer was made aware of the issue and stated that the vehicle should have been repaired per the recall and confirmed the dealer's statement. The failure mileage was unknown.

Lost steering completely. Steering wheel would rotate 360 degrees freely without affecting wheels. While driving down road at approximately 40 miles per hour, began to have play in steering wheel. While driving the car I noticed that every time I hit a bump or dip in the road, it feels like I am going to lose control of the vehicle. The car is extremely hard to control when hitting a bump on the street or highway and it's scary. I also noticed that the car jerks violently when changing gears in the automatic transmission. I bought the car in may of this year, its under 100k miles. I contacted the dealership and I'm waiting on a response.

While driving, the car cuts off, I have to put the car in park and cut it back on. I was hit from the back due to this because I was in the middle of a intersection when the car cut off with my 11 year old son in the car. Luckily we are okay and the damage was not bad because the other driver was not going fast but what if they were my son and I could have lost our lives due to this, and this has happened on more then one occasion. The dealership don't know whats going on! I am highly frustrated with this issue I just purchased this vehicle on april 30th 2015.

Various cracks have formed in the leather dashboard. One near the odometer readings extending towards the driver side window. A second to the left of the center dash extending from top to bottom. Contact Infiniti consumer affairs because they replaced fx35 dashboards with the same issue. They said they would not replace my vehicle dash. I first noticed the cracks on june 26, 2016. Called Infiniti on july 1, 2016.

While driving, and I'm getting ready to slow down or stop. The car completely shuts off. I have to put it back in neutral quickly in order for it to start. Also while at a complete stop. Once I accelerate, the car just cuts of in the middle of the road! This week alone I've almost had three accidents because of this. My car has been at numerous repair shops. They've all stated the cannot find anything wrong. Once my check engine light comes on. Bring it back. Really?! It cuts off daily, while in motion at least 6-10 times. *tr

Tl* the contact owns a 2008 Infiniti ex35. While the vehicle was parked, after being driven approximately 45 minutes earlier the contact noticed a burning odor in the cabin. A cloud of smoke also appeared. The contact took the vehicle to two mechanics and the dealer where it was diagnosed that the wiring harness and body control module needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer stated that due to no recall and warranty expiration, they were unable to provide a repair. The VIN was unknown. My car has 4 michelin latitude tour hp tire size p225/60r17 and tin code DOT edxhn2wx4907. I had one tire replaced because it developed air loss with time. My infinity ex35 had the light for tire pressure loss on . After this incident we re-pressurized the tire with the car?s placard specifications. Two (2) months later the light for pressure of the tire turned on again. We pressurized the tire again. Then after a week the light turned on again. We pressurized the tire again and then the next day we had a flat tire. I decided to take it to the dealer and had it replaced for another brand. After this incident the light of the pressure monitor system came on again after 2 weeks. Because of this problem we strongly believe we are having the same air loss problem with one of the other 3 mic
