Nissan is recalling certain model year 2005-2009 titan, armada, and Infiniti qx56 vehicles

This could cause the vehicle to run out of gas and stall on the highway, which could cause a crash.

Fix: Dealers will replace the fuel sender unit inside the fuel tank with a new improved sender card. This service will be performed free of charge. The safety recall began on march 22, 2010. Owners may contact Nissan at 1-800-647-7261.

INFINITI; FUEL TANK IS EXTREMELY DIFFICULT TO FILL IF CUSTOMER REPORTS: Customer routinely experiences difficulty fueling the vehicle at different fuel stations (filling nozzle shuts off every few seconds while filling at multiple stations and using multiple filling pumps). IMPORTANT: - If the customer does not report the above symptoms, this bulletin does not apply. - If the customer reports intermittent (but not consistent difficulty re-fueling), this bulletin does not apply. ACTION: Perform the Inspection Procedure in this bulletin, starting on page 4, only if the customer reports symptoms as described above. NOTE: Refer to the Repair Overview on page 2.
