Tuesday, 11/27/18, morning my car (100,00 total miles driven) started to make a periodic squeaking noise while driving on the freeway to work. I then took it to an auto repair shop that same morning to have it checked. They said that the problem was coming from my drive belt and pulleys. They referred me to the following link: https://www.cars.com/recalls/Mitsubishi-lancer-2008/. According to this website, my car has a recall for the drive belt and pulleys. So I went on Mitsubishi's recall website to put in my vid number, but it was showing that my car does not qualify for the recall. So I proceeded to have the auto repair shop repair my car according to the recall instructions shown on the website that he referred me to, which involves replacing the drive belt, pulleys, and drive belt

I received a recall notice for the drive belt, however, the dealer stated that the parts are on back order. I explained that the car is making a noise and I am concerned about the safety of driving the car. Their response is that I should bring the car in to get looked at. This now involves me having to take time off from work so that I can take it there which is about 40 minutes from my home. If it is the drive belt, there is nothing they can do anyway. I feel that it is negligent and a lack of consideration for the safety of the people driving the cars to have a recall and then have parts on back order. The manufacturer knows there is going to be a recall long before they announce it and send out notices. I have tried calling Mitsubishi customer service at 888-648-7820 and

Hi my name is [xxx] and the reason I'm writing this email is because I'm an owner of a 2008 Mitsubishi lancer that I lease on april of 2007. Now the problem is that I was driving the other day and my side airbags on my driver side deployed for no apparent reason I could of killed myself or cause a major accident. I took the car to the dealer and services said that they need to get the car checked out I explain to them that I didn't crash the car I was just driving but I guess they don't believe me when there's no damages to the body of the car. Now they come back and tell me that Mitsubishi is not going to fix the damages and for me to contact my car insurance and make a report so they can fix the problem b/c the warranty is not responsible for what happened and they not giving me a lo

We had car at a car dealer and the manufacturer declined doing the recall on the car for corrison on the front crossmember, telling us due to car has a total loss record on Carfax. The vehicle total loss record was for a accident that didn't effect that part of the car that's under recall, it was due to vehicle repairs were more then what car was worth. The piece I think they call it crossmember has rust holes through it and is about to come apart at the rusted holes on the part. We buy the car JA3AU86U18U016308 in 2022 for our daughter to drive to college. Just finding out when we took it into the car place to perform this recall they won't do the recall because of Mitsubishi. I filled this out for my dad, he bought car for me.

I have had several problems of which I have had my car in to the Mitsubishi dealer to check out to find out that they could find out nothing. The brakes gave out once and I had to use my emergency brake to stop. Thank god I did not hit anyone. They seemed to work afterwards. The car would not start and this would happen several time a week. I had the car checked out thoroughly and of course they found nothing out. Now I am dealing with a thumping noise when I am at a complete stop and I go to take off. This noise has been there since the first day I bought the car. It seems to only be heard when at a complete stop and you go to take off. Also the heater fan clicks off and on randomly. I never had this or heard this loud clicking on and off fan noise when I had a 2004 lancer. I also ha

*tr
